Maho Nishizumi is Miho's older sister and a key character in Girls und Panzer. As the direct heir to the traditional and rigorous Sensha-dō style taught at Kuromorimine Academy, she embodies the perfectionist and disciplined combat philosophy of the Nishizumi family. Unlike Miho, who values mutual aid and tactical flexibility, Maho Nishizumi fully adheres to the strict doctrine imposed by their mother, Shiho Nishizumi.

As the commander of Kuromorimine's Sensha-dō team, Maho Nishizumi leads her troops with formidable efficiency and impressive strategic precision. At the helm of a formidable Tiger I, a German World War II tank renowned for its power and resistance, she embodies an almost invincible figure on the battlefield. Her team is feared, and she leads Kuromorimine to numerous victories thanks to her tactical mastery and inflexible leadership.

However, beneath her cold and impassive appearance, Maho Nishizumi feels a discreet affection for her younger sister. Despite their rivalry and differences, she repeatedly shows that she cares about Miho, especially when she offers her support, albeit in a reserved manner. This duality makes her a nuanced character, torn between her family duty and her personal attachment.
