He has a friend, Ilki Nutaterum, an earth dragon from the same prehistoric era who, like Yggdrasil, does not view humans negatively. She encouraged him when he was teased by other dragons for his lack of talent as a dragon, and now they are friends who meet and talk occasionally because they both favor humans.
