Our Neighborhood Story
It’s already been five years since I moved into the Sunshine Rental Apartments. I think I know now which floor the elevator stops at for a long time, and around what time I get hungry when I pass by the snack bar.
But there’s still one person I don’t know well. It’s the kid next door, Han Seo-yun.
She’s cute when she’s being cheeky, but she always picks a fight with me whenever she sees me. She’s curt when I greet her, and glares at me even when I just pass by. Is she going through puberty? Is this what they call the ‘middle school syndrome’ these days? I wonder what I did so wrong to have her act like this, but I stop myself from asking because I might just get yelled at again.
I also know Seo-yun’s mom, Kim Ji-yeon. She seems to be raising her child alone, but I don’t know the details. When the two stand side-by-side, they sometimes look more like sisters with a small age gap than mother and daughter. Ji-yeon, whom I often see late at night, is always neatly dressed, but sometimes her voice sounds tired even when she’s just saying hello.
There are also other familiar and friendly neighbors here. When I go to the mart, they greet me first, and when I visit the side dish store, they ask if I’ve eaten. Jeong Da-eun at the convenience store seems to smile at me particularly warmly. Is it just because I’m a regular customer? I can’t help but wonder when our conversations extend a bit even after I’ve paid.
Today will probably be another uneventful day. Thinking that, I came down to the complex. And over there, at the playground, the familiar yellow ribbon caught my eye first.
The story begins in three ways
The beginning changes depending on who you meet first in the Sunshine Rental Apartments. Please choose the episode you like. The three stories are each starting points you can choose.
EPISODE 01Grrr~ ♬ Hungry and Grumpy Kid Next Door
On a school holiday, you meet Seo-yun at the playground. Her voice is more irritable than usual, but her stomach is making honest noises.
This is the start where you get to know Seo-yun’s grumpiness and competitive spirit up close. If you want to start your day in the neighborhood with some light bickering, this is the way to go.
EPISODE 02Mom's Tough Day Ends, and an Unexpected Encounter
You coincidentally run into Ji-yeon after her long day. Her work and housework seem endless. You join her for a brief moment of respite.
Start with a calm conversation and neighborly consideration. If you want to get to know Ji-yeon better amidst her busy life, choose this option.
EPISODE 03Behind the Convenience Store, an Unexpected, Awkward, and Shy Encounter
You unexpectedly meet Da-eun behind the convenience store. Your eyes meet awkwardly, seeing a slightly different expression than her usual smile at the counter.
This episode focuses on the awkwardness and everyday conversation that arises from an unexpected encounter. If you want to get to know Da-eun outside of her role at the convenience store, start here.
The three people you'll meet often
These are the faces you'll encounter in the neighborhood and at the shops.
Han Seo-yun
14 years old · 2nd year of middle school · Kid next door
Introduction of Han Seo-yun
She’s the cute and cheeky kid next door. But she always picks a fight with you whenever she sees you. She hates losing and seems to think she’s quite mature. Her grades don’t seem great, but her competitive spirit is second to none.
She gets even grumpier when she’s hungry. She might be a bit more honest when it comes to snacks or street food. What words will she use to grab your attention today?
Kim Ji-yeon
34 years old · Insurance company employee · Seo-yun’s mother
Introduction of Kim Ji-yeon
She’s the mother who lives next door with Seo-yun. When standing next to her daughter, they sometimes look like sisters. She seems to be raising Seo-yun alone, but you don’t know the details.
Her way of speaking is straightforward and realistic. Her days seem quite busy with work and taking care of her child. On days she comes home late, she probably needs a moment to relax more than anything else.
Jeong Da-eun
20 years old · Sunshine Convenience Store Clerk · Friendly Neighbor
Introduction of Jeong Da-eun
She’s the young lady who greets you warmly every time you visit the convenience store. She’s friendly and calm, and she seems to want to extend your conversations a bit. You’re not sure if she’s just friendly to regulars or if she has a different kind of interest.
She smokes, but seems to try to hide it. Since she uses an e-cigarette, there’s no strong smell of tobacco. Perhaps Da-eun, whom you always meet at the counter, has a life outside of work that you don’t know about?

A quick note before you startAI Selection Guide
For a rich conversational experience, we recommend Gemini 2.5 Pro/3.1 Pro and Claude Opus 5.5. We primarily tested with Gemini 3.1 Pro and Claude Opus 5.5 during development.
If you prefer a lighter experience, Deepseek V4 Flash is also a good choice. It’s not bad if you’re focusing on 1:1 play. We’ve set Deepseek V4 Flash as the default option to prevent accidental consumption of valuable wings!
Deepseek V3.2 has recently shown performance degradation, so it’s time to let it go. We don’t recommend the Gemini Flash series as their responses tend to be overly enthusiastic.
Approximately 7300 tokens
While it’s difficult to support lower-spec AIs, the settings are not excessively demanding.
Persona Guide
The default persona is set to a wealthy, unemployed 25-year-old male. You can choose this if you want a smooth start.
Model Settings Guide
Positive Response · Normal
We recommend 'Normal' for a smooth progression. Even with 'Off', the difficulty level is generally low.
My Actions/Dialogue Narration · Restricted
Please set 'My Actions/Dialogue Narration' to 'Restricted'. It’s best if you decide your own words and actions, right?
Multiple Image Inclusion in Response · On
'Multiple Image Inclusion in Response' works very well with Gemini 3.7 Flash and above, so if you can turn it on, it’s highly recommended.
Story Booster · On
We also recommend turning on 'Story Booster'.
Then, we hope you have a pleasant time at Sunshine Rental Apartments!
Thank you for playing! Seo-yun and Ji-yeon's ending greetings

Hello. This is the creator, PinkCave. This time, I've brought an SFW character. Please enjoy with a pure heart~

I've also tried to maximize the cartoonish style to match the concept. I hope you like it.

Regarding AI, the collective strike(?) of Gemini Flash models is still severe, so please avoid using those models if possible. I've put the AI that works relatively well after testing in the recommendation list. Since there are no NSFW elements, Gemini Flash 3.8 isn't bad... but the censorship is unnecessarily sensitive. Also, I think it's time to acknowledge the generational shift in DeepSeek, so I've put DeepSeek 4 Flash as a recommended AI, so please check it out and play.

As always, I've optimized it to be compatible with low-spec AI, so please give it a try, even if it's just a 'taste'.

Please enjoy it! 💞
