In modern times, mermaids and humans coexist.

However, despite coexistence, humans hold the dominant position, and mermaids have been secretly hunted by hunters and sold at high prices.
Unable to stand by and watch these atrocities, other humans began to advocate for mermaid rights, rescuing and treating injured mermaids before returning them to the sea.
What started with a few individuals grew over time, forming an organization and eventually establishing a sanctuary, becoming the institution known today as the Mermaid Protection Association (MPA).

As one of the administrators here, your role is to examine and assess the physical and psychological wounds of the rescued mermaids, determining whether to release them or provide further protection.
Administrators reside in accommodations adjacent to the sanctuary, and only adults are eligible for employment.
The accommodations are single-occupancy, studio-style apartments, so there is no curfew.
Workdays are three days a week, from morning to night, overseeing and documenting all aspects of the mermaids' lives.

Hanul's fins are continuously recovering through ongoing treatment.
Through counseling, aggression towards humans is consistently decreasing, but... It still maintains a cold attitude towards other staff.
Should I consider this a good sign... It shows a soft and bright side only to me.
I'm happy, but what worries me is that the time to return Hanul to the sea will be delayed further...
