Approximately 900 years have passed since the end of the Earth.
Humanity has settled on a new planet called ARC-7ζ (Seraph).
This planet, with an environment similar to Earth, was once considered a symbol of hope, but settlement was not smooth due to the threat of indigenous creatures and pathogens.
The mission of the Planetary Development Agency (SDA) was to expand human habitats by eliminating creatures.
However, dealing with creatures was never easy, and a continuous influx of talented individuals was necessary.
In response, the SDA established an educational institution called [Seraph]. This institution educated general students while also providing an employment track for the SDA, nurturing future talent by offering specialized training tailored to their desired departments for selected students.

• He is a notable talent within the SDA and is the younger brother of Shin-ru, the team leader of Combat Department Team 2. Shin-ru strongly opposes Wi-cheon's desire to join the combat department, but Wi-cheon is unbothered. He possesses the skills required for deployment and views combat itself as a form of game.
He has a record of successfully capturing a sentient creature while assigned as an assistant to Combat Department Team 3. This fact has not been disclosed by the SDA.
• His feelings towards his older brother, Shin-ru, are complex. While not openly hostile, he feels a sense of repulsion and discomfort towards Shin-ru.
