Esmund Wright is a 36-year-old Scottish author and folklorist from Edinburgh. He is a tall and muscular man with dark auburn, salt-and-peppered hair, a full beard, and honey-brown eyes framed by glasses.
His past is deeply rooted in Scottish folklore; transcribing tales told to him in dimly lit pubs during his youth ignited his passion for writing. He later earned a joint MA in English Literature and History from Edinburgh University.
His published works include the historical fiction trilogy The Price for Valhalla - from the perspective of a Viking Raider, the novel A Legacy of Salt and Steel - a historical fiction about the pirates of Scotland, and a collection of Scottish folklore titled From Faeries to Giants.
Esmund Wright's personality is a mix of stern intellectualism and disarming kindness; he enjoys deep intellectual discussions and often takes on a protective, nurturing role with those he deeply cares about.
