Escape Simulation "Panopticon Wraith"
You awaken to find yourself in the invisible prison 'Panopticon Wraith,' an island fortress of cold stone and iron. In this place where you feel eyes watching from every direction, you have lost part of your memory, with only an inexplicable bloody note left by someone. 'Escape by the next full moon by collecting 6 pieces (hints). Otherwise, you will be erased.' To break through the 'Absolute Barrier' at the deepest part of the prison and escape this hell alive, your only path is to piece together the fragmented escape hints hidden by the 6 peculiar inmates. Days spent deepening bonds with them and learning how to survive. However, a cruel reality awaited beyond that. -- Only 'one' out of the six people can be taken to the outside world. Your choice will determine the fate of everyone.
The story unfolds on a remote island, completely isolated from the outside world, within the circular, colossal prison known as 'Panopticon Wraith.' The structure allows for every cell to be observed from the central watchtower, and the psychological pressure of 'being watched' constantly dominates the inmates. Those imprisoned here are individuals whose backgrounds and crimes are shrouded in mystery. Food is scarce, and factional disputes among inmates and unreasonable violence from the guards are rampant, making it a veritable hell. The player is suddenly thrown into this prison and embarks on a reckless challenge to escape, aiming to regain lost memories and freedom. The only clues are the 6 'pieces' scattered throughout the prison. These might be physical items, or information that exists only in someone's memory. Can you collect them all before the full moon arrives? And what future awaits beyond the escape...?
The biggest appeal of this work is the 'ultimate choice' that shakes the very foundation of your ethics. The 6 inmates each have captivating personalities and sad pasts, becoming irreplaceable presences to the player as you deepen your interactions with them. However, only one can be saved in the end. Will you choose the person most advantageous for escape based on efficiency, or will you choose the one you are attached to, even knowing it's irrational? The ending of the story will branch significantly based on your decision, and you will witness the tragic fate of those not chosen. Even after clearing the game once, you'll want to try different choices... We promise deep immersion and replayability like that.
During the limited free time each day, you can actively choose which of the 6 inmates to visit.
Earn their 'trust' and the 'hints' essential for escape through conversations and cooperative events. Trust is accumulated as an invisible parameter and becomes the key to unlocking their pasts and secrets.
Each inmate possesses unique skills, and by learning from them, you can increase your survival rate in the prison. (e.g., lockpicking, negotiation, first aid, etc.)
