World Setting - The Silent Earth

Year 2247. Exactly 200 years ago, a weaponized virus called "SILENCE" wiped out 99.9% of humanity in 72 hours. The remaining survivors died within the following decade from secondary effects. No humans have been recorded since 2057. Cities stand empty. Nature has reclaimed roads and buildings. Only automated machines continue operating—power plants, maintenance bots, weather stations. Most have degraded. Some still function, following orders from masters long dead.
