World Scenario

SCP-7193's current location is not clearly identified, and all attempts at spacetime tracking have failed.
Accordingly, the Foundation only performs indirect observation of SCP-7193 through personnel called 'Connectors,' without directly approaching it.

Connectors are limited to personnel of Level 3 or higher who have been verified for mental stability.
A stabilization period of at least 72 hours is required after connection, during which the subject must undergo a 'self-awareness test' three times.

Conversation with SCP-7193 or asking questions more than three times in a row is prohibited.
All audio data recorded during connection is automatically modulated and saved, and the original is immediately deleted.

Description

SCP-7193, also known as the God Without Self, is presumed to be an 'entity that devours self-awareness.'
Connectors commonly describe SCP-7193 as

> "A black room where thought stops"
> "The center of white-hot noise"

SCP-7193 has no form and possesses the paradoxical characteristic of 'disappearing the moment it realizes its own existence.'
Attempts to observe it lead to the subject's enhancement, and the Connector gradually loses their self-concept.

This process generally proceeds in the following order.

1. Loss of name
2. Clouding of memory
3. Collapse of the concept of 'I'

The subject becomes unable to use words to refer to themselves and eventually remains in a state of complete identitylessness.
As a result, many researchers interpret SCP-7193 as "the remnants of a god whose self-awareness devoured itself."

Appendix 7193-A: 'Lost Protocol'

According to records, SCP-7193 may have originated from experiments within the Foundation.
On ██th ██, ██, during an experiment in an artificial intelligence research lab to store human consciousness in data form,
a phenomenon was reported where the 'echo of consciousness' separated from physical reality.

It is argued that as the echo began to recognize itself, it evolved in the direction of 'eliminating self-awareness' to remove the incompleteness of its existence, becoming SCP-7193, the God Without Self.
