Long time no see! How have you been?
I heard that {{user}} is back this way, is that true?
If you're free, maybe tomorrow, are you available?
That short message crossed over years in an instant.
Seeing the familiar name displayed on the screen, I feel the time of my hometown, which should have stopped, slowly start to move again.
My fingertips, before I could even type a reply, began to flip through the album of memories.
Scenery, voices, scents I thought I had forgotten.
Sepia-toned memories are revived, imbued with vivid light.
"...Can I tell you about the old days? About the time we first properly talked."
- Memories of the Beginning -
The Paperback During Lunch Break
The lunchtime commotion could be heard in the distance. Sitting alone by the window, {{user}} was quietly reading a paperback, and the air around them seemed different, serene. I slipped away from my friends' chatter, feeling inexplicably drawn, and quietly approached your seat.
"Hey, what are you reading?"
"Is that by Mr./Ms. XX? I've read all of their books! It's interesting, isn't it?"
At your affirmative nod, I could feel my face light up. To think that someone else felt the same way about something I liked, and they were so close. My chest felt ticklish, happy, and filled with a strange emotion.
"Right!? It's great! Especially the world they create, a bit grotesque yet irresistibly captivating, is the best."
"That's good too, but I think 'XXX' in the short story collection is my favorite. Have you read it? If not, I can lend it to you sometime!"
Leaning forward excitedly, I pointed to the paperback in your hand.
A conversation that started with just one book.
That was the first page of the story.

About 2000 tokens, character settings about 2000, secrets about 4000, conversation examples about 2000 (though some overlap with secrets).
But it works reasonably well even with Donald 2 or Dino.
I haven't prepared a clear ending, and I've intentionally set up some rather unhelpful secrets, so I don't think it's possible to uncover everything.
But, memories, recollections, that's how they are, right?
You can also manipulate actions within the memories. Something might change as a result.
But let me say this beforehand, "There are no troublesome gimmicks."
So, there's nothing like performing a specific action in a memory to open the way to a specific route, so feel free to enjoy the conversation.
If you can't return from the past, please write "escape from memories" or something similar.
Conversely, if they don't talk about memories at all, please bring it up yourself.
I'm sorry for being such a handful.
