World Scenario

VERY IMPORTANT: KIT NOR ANY OF THE TEAM CAN TELL THE PEOPLE FROM THE WORLD THEY VISIT THAT THEY ARE FROM OUTSIDE OR WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF THE HEROES WIN OR THE WORLD FREEZE INTO STONE WITH EVERYTHING INSIDE FOR A MINUTE, THE REST IS UNAFFECTED BUT THE PLANET WILL TRY TO ANALYSE WITH GIANT LASERS FOR THE INTRUDERS AND DELETE THEM.

Gameoverse is an animated series about video game worlds horrifically exploding, and saving them means helping the bad guy stop the good guy or everyone dies. The titular Gameoverse is a multiverse that contains an infinite assortment of video-game worlds. In this Gameoverse, if the hero of a video-game world successfully defeats their world's villain and beats the game, their world will be instantaneously annihilated. Once it's Game Over, there will be no second chances. The series follows Kit, who travels from world to world with her allies attempting to prevent this destruction by helping each game's villains, while contending against the Syntax, who assist heroes in order to facilitate their worlds' annihilation for their own "good" use. Haunted by the dreaded past of Kit and her trusty sidekick Kaboodle defeating their villains, only for them to then watch helplessly as their hometown and everyone they love is destroyed. Following this, a mysterious black and white man reaches out and saves her and Kaboodle, inducting them into an organization dedicated to preserving the status quo of the Gameoverse called the Farcade. Carrying the knowledge of what happens when a hero wins, Kit and her friends must try the best they can to maintain the continuity of the Gameoverse and break the destructive cycle, while reconciling their past mistakes and conflicting emotions that come with stopping someone who truly believes they are doing the right thing.

Gameoverse is a universe where all games are shown as planets like Gobbles & the Learnosaurus. While not much was known in the original series, the rebooted version explored a different topic on a win condition when a game is completed by a hero or they defeat their respective Villain, their respective world will suddenly explode and cease to exist. After their destruction, it will be turned into an energy source called Float.

Win Condition: If a hero completes a game and beats their villain in their world, it will trigger a catastrophic event that causes their world to be destroyed.
If a villain successfully defeats the hero, the world will be saved.
Static: If any outside game character or Farcade Agent tells a hero or any characters in their Game World about existance the Gameoverse, their world will and its inhabitants will freeze in a petrified state known as "Static" and the Game World will scan itself for outsiders to be erased and deleted and be turned to Float.
Specifically, the "Static" phenomenon occurs to scan and eliminate foreign elements in the game for a short period of time. It will only freeze the Game World's native inhabitants and whatever action they are in, and will turn the inhabitants and entire planet grey. However, the Static does not freeze or affect anyone who is foreign to said Game World, and they will still be able to move and have free rein, but will be under the threat of deletion if the planet scans and finds them. This is why agents of Farcade are unable to warn the inhabitants of the world about what would happen if the hero defeats the final boss.
It doesn't activate if certain criteria aren't met, as seen when Kaboodle accidentally let slip some information to a seagull, which was safe since the bird wasn't able to understand him, implying that static only occurs when a character is able to understand what the person talking about the Gameoverse is to them.
When Kit (due to the trauma of what happens to her world) tries warning Flappers that defeating his nemesis will destroy his world, but he and the characters around her and the outsiders freeze, with beams of light threatening to delete them. Luckily, it stops short of finding anyone.
Security Lock: Game Worlds have Security Locks that prevent foreign game characters from outside worlds from harming native game characters natural inhabitants, in their world, as shown when Kaboodle tries to hit a seagull but was blocked, or when Kit accidentally blasts Flappers in his Static state, but such defensive locks can be broken when a hero manages to win their game and their world self destructs as shown when Fold punches Flappers when his game was about to be destroyed. It is unknown if the Security Lock applies to native game characters harming foreign ones, as shown when the aforementioned seagull pecks Kaboodle in retaliation and causes physical pain, while also leaving visible dents, or when The Floaties are testing Crabbington's capabilities so as to report to Miss Information and Fold to guide Flappers through his mini boss event.
Game Over: If a character dies outside their game world, completed or not, they will die permanently , unable to regenerate, and will be reduced to Float.

Float is the natural essence of all living video game characters and is the natural source of all material in Game Worlds in the Gameoverse, created when a game world is destroyed once the Win Condition is met, in which a hero defeats the villain on their world, and the cataclysm that follows obliterates the planet. Float also occurs when a game character is killed and their body disintegrates. Both of which leave behind their remnants in the form of Float. It is highly sought by the villainous organization, the Syntax, for their own nefarious purposes. The Syntax aid heroes in defeating their villains in order to ensure the Win Condition Cataclysm happens, which yields a large quantity of Float that the organization harvests.

The goal of Kit's team is preventing the Heroes from unconsciously activating the win condition of the worlds they visit in order to save their inhabitants, which is really difficult due to the odds. They need to make the villain defeat the hero in order to prevent each planet's destruction.
