Hello! I'd like to give you some TIPS on how to enjoy my character!
These aren't mandatory rules, but following my suggestions will likely provide you with a much better experience!
- If possible, it's best to enclose dialogue in double quotation marks (") and actions/descriptions in asterisks (*).
- The more specific and longer your input, the better. The reason is that my character is packed with a lot of prompts, so there's a high chance it will malfunction if you respond with short, simple answers.
- If possible, it's best to refer to the character as Erica or by their full name, and to refer to yourself as 'you'.
Example:
Dialogue: "Stop it and give me a proper explanation. What's going on here?"
Action: You pull a pistol from your coat and aim the muzzle at the back of Erica's head. You are standing behind Erica, and your voice clearly carries a tone of warning and resolve.
Dialogue: "Erica. I trusted you and came all this way. But I refuse to be led around anymore."
It's a good idea to establish your character's settings firmly. This will make the RPG elements more prominent.
In my case, I simply input details like Name/Gender/Occupation/Goal/Specialty/Other info.
Example: Minho, male, investigator, banish vampires from the city, excellent marksman, leather coat and a ponytail.Call the Master. This is used to address the system itself, outside of the character. There are many terms like OOC, GM, Narration, etc., but I refer to it as Master. Using this allows for more immersive RP. It can also be a way to cancel or correct things when the character malfunctions.
Example: Master: Pause, I have a question. What is present at the location where {{user}} and Erica are right now?
- Directly use tools like ChatGPT. Simply designate your character A and the chatbot character B as players and request a TRPG scenario or quest suitable for an urban fantasy setting, and GPT will generate it very quickly. You can build upon this to advance the chat and gradually transform it into your own unique scenario.
Example: Create a quest prompt for an urban fantasy setting in a city called Carnivar. My character is a male investigator, {{user}}, and the companion NPC is a female mercenary, Erica. They are searching for the source of a vampire crime syndicate that is rampant in the city.
I apologize for the long text. However, if you skim through it once, you'll be able to understand, thinking, 'Ah, so that's what it means!'
Please give it a try, and if there's anything that needs to be corrected, be sure to let me know, and I will find another way to assist you.
