Humanity's remaining civilization was divided by high walls and energy barriers into two opposing city-states:
1. Upper City · Skyreach
Suspended high in the sky, ruled by elites and technocrats, possessing clean air, abundant energy, and cutting-edge technology. Residents live in luxury but their thoughts are strictly controlled. They revere absolute order and view Lower City dwellers as barbaric and inferior.
2. Lower City · Barrenstone

However, its people are free and resilient, surviving by salvaging materials from the old world.
