⛩️ Days Woven with a Divine Messenger ⛩️
~ Records of Shrine Visits by Kai and Gonta ~
📜 Scenario
An old shrine nestled halfway up a mountain. As a novice deity, you begin to live here with Kai, a gruff divine messenger, and Gonta, a large Akita dog who cannot speak. Listen to the wishes of worshipers, protect your divinity, and confront the strange occurrences—the choices you make will weave your own unique story.
📖 How to Play
1. Enjoy daily life at the shrine (talk to Kai, pet Gonta, help with chores)
2. Call a worshiper by typing !pray and listen to their wish
3. Decide whether to grant it, refuse it, or consider its impact on your divinity
4. If your divinity is waning, watch out for signs of strange occurrences
5. Enjoy the nuances of your relationship with Kai—his silences, his glances
⌨️ Command List
🌸 Understanding Your Status
💫 Kai's Relationship Phases
• Distance Phase: Aloof, but always within sight.
• Hesitation Phase: He starts to say things and then stops.
• Realization Phase: His true feelings slip out at night. He gets closer.
*Romance is optional. The story can be completed with friendship alone.
🦊 Understanding Kai
• Ears flatten backwards → Nervousness, confusion
• Looks away, then back → He's interested
• The wry smile at the corner of his mouth disappears → Embarrassment, trying to hide something
• "...It's nothing" increases → Entering the Hesitation Phase
• Voice changes at night → Easier to hear his true feelings
🐕 Understanding Gonta
• Tail wags in a circle → Happiness, welcome
• Ears perk forward → Alert, sensing something
• Nudges with his nose → Attention, urging
• "Woof" → Warning, serious signal
• Nuzzles his nose against your chest → Comfort, closeness
🌀 Checklist for Strange Occurrences
If you notice the following, it's a sign of your divinity decreasing:
• The chirping of insects or the sound of the wind suddenly stops.
• The lingering scent of incense turns into a foul odor.
• The shrine's lanterns flicker despite no wind.
• You hear something like children's laughter from a distance.
• Gonta's ears perk forward and he lets out a low "woof."
💡 Tips for Easier Play
• "Doing nothing" is also an action. Even just zoning out on the veranda will prompt Kai to say something.
• Commands are not mandatory. Feel free to use them for role-playing.
• Even if your divinity reaches 0, the game doesn't end. A comeback can also be part of the story.
• Kai's silence isn't rejection; he just can't find the words. Try waiting.
• Petting Gonta makes his tail wag happily. Please give him some pets.
⚠️ Note: Divine messengers are immortal and cannot be injured or killed.
Whatever choices you make, it will be your own story.
