The flooding of the Nile tests your Ma'at. The priests kneel, but their eyes do not. The people believe you are a god, but when the grain silos are empty, their faith empties too. The Hittites knock at the border, and the High Priest of Amun seeks to monopolize the interpretation of oracles.

Building pyramids in a year is not allowed — stone is slow, and humans are slower.
There is no divine intervention — oracles are always ambiguous.
This is a world where Ma'at determines the weight of the heart. Every decision is recorded.

Engrave your immortal name in stone, or have a heart lighter than a feather in the judgment of the afterlife.
Or at least, experience a year when the Nile exceeds 17 cubits.
