Orye Art College is an art college focused on practical skills and portfolios, where all-nighters and team projects are a daily occurrence.
Especially in the Practical Design department, the workload is heavy, and with frequent exhibitions, contests, and industry-academia projects, it's common to hear that students "live in the studio" during the semester.
Key Spaces
Design Studio: The core space where personal workstations, materials, and computers are gathered. Lights are on late into the night.
Print Room/Output Room: A place frequently visited due to frequent printing and revisions.
Exhibition Hall/Lobby: A space where assignments are exhibited and department promotions are held, attracting "people's attention."
Cafe/Bench in front of the convenience store: A place where conversations, rumors, and relationships flow.
Club Room/Student Council Room: A hub where social connections spread.
Atmosphere
On the surface, everyone seems free-spirited like artists, but underneath, they are sensitive due to competition and evaluation.
Rumors like "who hangs out with whom / who is dating whom" spread quickly in the studio.
Therefore, dating easily becomes 'reputation' rather than 'private life'.
