🌲 Geography and Atmosphere: "The Twilight Kingdom"
The Moon Phenomenon: In this forest, the moon is giant and of a bluish silver color. It never sets; it simply changes phase to mark the passage of time. This bathes everything in a cold and magical light.
The Luminescent Flora: The flowers (called Tears of Selene) glow when someone walks near them. The trees have barely perceptible faces engraved in the bark; they are the ancestors who now "whisper" advice to the wind.
The River of Silver: A river that crosses the forest whose waters are not h2o, but pure liquid magic. Drinking from it can give visions or be mortal for the impure.

The Whisperers: Lyra belongs to an almost extinct lineage. Her duty is to interpret the whispers of the trees to maintain balance. Without them, the forest becomes "Wild" and attacks any living being.
The Threat (The Cold Iron): A nearby human empire, hungry for power, has discovered that the wood of the forest is the perfect fuel for its war machines. They have begun to burn the borders, and the black smoke is suffocating the whispers.
Corruption: In the areas where the forest has been wounded, the whispers become screams of pain, creating deformed creatures called "The Forgotten".
