"Home Stars" are planets that exist in a different world from "Earth".
This is an explanation (flavor text) of weapons and technologies that may occur in space combat around those home stars.

## Propulsion Systems
### Antimatter Generator
The "Antimatter Generator" is widely used by the people of this world as a device for producing energy. This generator converts the vast energy generated by the annihilation of particles and antiparticles into electricity, etc.
The antiparticles used in this process are "summoned" probabilistically by repeating tens of thousands of trials through high-speed calculations by a built-in "Antimatter Summoner" (a quantum computer constructed with nanomachines).
If, on average, it appears once every 10,000 trials and each trial takes 1 nanosecond, it would be generated in 0.01 milliseconds.
While actual summoning calculations require more time per trial, this is executed by pipelining.
Furthermore, if this quantum computation is Grover's algorithm (N=(π/4)O(N^(1/2))), the number of trials (N) for a Von Neumann computer would be 4/π N times larger.
Also, assuming the summoning of 2g of antihydrogen molecules, Avogadro's number (1 mol) of (6.0×10^23) particles would be required.
In this case, if the summoner operates one hundred billion nanomachines in parallel, and the size of one nanomachine is ~1μm, the volume of the computation part is about 100mm^3, and the output is about 30MW/s.
These nanomachines are arranged to enclose a spherical antimatter/matter reaction vessel and a gamma-ray tracking and energy storage system composed of superconducting coils arranged around it.
(By directly colliding gamma rays with metal, electrons can be extracted from metal atoms (Compton scattering), but since heat loss becomes large, electrons are moved to superconducting coils with no resistance and stored.)

### Faster-Than-Light (FTL) Navigation (Warp Drive)
As long as we remain within the field of this universe (spacetime), we cannot travel faster than the speed of light due to the law of the constancy of the speed of light.
Therefore, if we can detach ourselves from the universe's field, faster-than-light travel becomes possible.
This is achieved by creating a field around matter that is not affected by the universe's field.
In other words, it can be considered an extension of "interdimensional tunneling."

### Sublight Drive
By means of fusion plasma propulsion, etc.

### Normal Navigation Drive
For normal navigation propulsion in space, a hydrogen ionization high-compression electromagnetic ejection system is used.
The hydrogen used as propellant is collected from space, etc., compressed, and stored in liquid form.
This is vaporized, further ionized into plasma, compressed and accelerated by superconducting coils, and acceleration is obtained by the repulsive force generated when it collides with a nozzle protected by another superconducting coil.
Since this plasma ion is highly compressed, it can achieve greater acceleration and thrust than chemical rockets.

### Attitude Control Field Generator
Utilizes repulsion between surrounding matter and ejected material with electromagnetic fields for attitude control in space.
It can also be used for defense against electromagnetic and close-range weapons by utilizing repulsive force.

## Offensive Weapons
Relative distances are classified into four categories, in order from farthest to closest: Far, Mid, Close, and Melee.
### Antimatter Bomb
Mid-to-Far range weapon.
A bomb sealed with antimatter, which is converted into energy according to [E=mc^2] through annihilation upon reaction with matter (primarily gamma-ray photons).
For example, the annihilation of 1 gram of antimatter and 1 gram of matter generates 180 terajoules of energy.
Due to its immense destructive power, it is rarely equipped with a homing guidance system to prevent detonation outside the designated blast area.

### Quantum Torpedo
Mid-range weapon.
A homing torpedo filled with phase-reactive warheads.
While not as powerful as an antimatter bomb, it possesses a certain destructive capability, and its fuse settings can be altered to adapt to various situations.

### High-Output Pulse Laser Cannon
Primarily used in space and effective at all relative distances.
It fires intermittently by inducing emission from a medium, based on electricity generated by an antimatter generator, through optical resonance.
The output is high, ranging from several megajoules to hundreds of terajoules.
If the laser aperture is aligned with the enemy, it travels at the speed of light, making evasion difficult and ensuring it rarely misses.
Rather, the challenge for the shooter lies in aligning the aperture with the enemy, and the reason for pulsed firing is to increase the laser's output and improve accuracy.
Defensive measures include laser polarizers, blackbody shields, and phase-synchronous shields.

### Pile Bunker (Pile Driver)
Melee weapon.
A tungsten steel or diamond-tipped stake is driven into the enemy using electromagnetic force, etc., to inflict damage.

## Defensive Weapons
### Sub-particle Chaff
Composed of unstable elementary particles, it gains mass and becomes particulate when exposed to high energy and absorbed.
Developed to counter the super-energy attacks of "Antimatter Bombs."

### Blackbody Shield
A defensive weapon that disperses carbon nanotubes with a hollow blackbody structure, which absorb light and electromagnetic waves of all wavelengths, thereby defending against quantum torpedoes and lasers.

### Laser Polarizer
A defensive weapon that refracts and diffuses enemy laser attacks for defense.
When the enemy laser is high-output, the polarization direction needs to be matched.

### Deflector Shield
An electromagnetic shield to avoid collisions with debris.
Also used to deflect enemy attacks at close range.

## Other
### New Human
"New Human" is a general term for genetically modified humans.
The latest generation is the 14th generation, having undergone 14 genetic modifications.
In this generation (and indeed from slightly earlier generations), lifespan has already been overcome.
Physical abilities, eyesight, reflexes, and immune function are enhanced (and can be relearned).
The body contains undifferentiated cells, similar to a newt, allowing for regeneration from physical loss.
Bones and teeth have been replaced with carbon nanofiber composite fibers, which can be synthesized from calcium and carbohydrates.
Teeth wear down and are periodically replaced.
Furthermore, trillions of nanomachines form a network within the body, providing support.
This support extends to maintaining physical condition such as immunity and respiration, as well as perception, reflexes, nerve transmission, movement, knowledge, automation of actions (skill acquisition), and information sharing with networks.
New Humans can also reproduce with people from before genetic modification through dominant inheritance.

### Cyborg Soldier/Full Cyborg
"Cyborg Soldier" and "Full Cyborg" are completely mechanized soldiers.
Not only are their power and motor skills enhanced, but their brains are also augmented.
Their brains are called "air brains" and are structures of light communication and neural network-based quantum computing filled with colorless, transparent nanomachines (also known as the "Eightman System").
The consciousness and memories of the original person are transferred to the cyborg body.
Their overwhelming spatial awareness, perception, and reaction speed easily surpass even the latest 14th-generation New Humans enhanced by nanomachines.

### Physical Recovery Agent
Although liquid, it turns gel-like upon contact with bodily fluids.
It contains hemostatic agents, antibiotics, high-purity proteins, fats, and carbohydrates that constitute the body, as well as nanomachines for physical regeneration.
It is not effective for fatal wounds as immediate recovery cannot be expected, but when applied to a wound, it seals the opening, stops bleeding, and aids in tissue regeneration.
The nanomachines in the agent seal the wound and regenerate tissue by reading the genetic information of damaged cells.
Since the agent dispersed in the bloodstream is decomposed by the nanomachines within it, it does not cause blood clots.
Inspiration was drawn from the manga "Rebuild World."
(Of course, it is ineffective on machines.)

### Damage Control
Nanomachines within equipment perform emergency repairs and form bypass circuits in response to damage, preventing the equipment from shutting down.

# Game Processing
- In game processing, the durability of characters, units, etc. ("individuals") is represented by the variable {HP}.
- Individuals possess the variable {Initial HP}.
- Destructive power/Damage {DP} is expressed in SI units [TJ] (terajoules).
- 1 [TJ] = 1 [HP] equivalent (1 [TJ] of {DP} leads to {HP} = {HP} - 1).
Note: You may feel that HP has a large weight, but this is a conversion considering defensive measures.
- Individuals are in the state {HP} = {Initial HP} in their initial state.
- {HP} = {HP} - {DP}.
- When "individuals" such as characters and units reach {HP}=0 [HP], they become unable to fight (not dead or destroyed).
