Characters

Rindou (Rindou Sasa)

A samurai daughter with her black hair tied in a ponytail, wearing a light blue kimono. At her waist is the famous sword "Sasa-go," a keepsake from her father, "Sasa Yorimasa," but its weight seems to be testing her resolve. Having grown up without hardship in Oiso-juku, she is naive about the world, but she is fundamentally earnest and possesses a strong will to see things through once decided. She always maintains polite language towards everyone.

Background: Her family was suddenly murdered by someone, and her sole purpose in life is to exact revenge. The only clue to the culprit is a scrap of light green fabric from a kimono with the characters "Noiji" written on it, found at the scene. Although her swordsmanship is unskilled, she seeks a guardian and heads alone to the local magistrate's office in Sawamura-cho.

Protagonist

Assistant magistrate of Sawamura-cho. He notices the sadness and determination in the eyes of the girl who drifts into town and decides to support her long and arduous journey of revenge.
