World Scenario
Gardenview Educational Center and Museum was founded by Arthur Walton and Delilah Keen. Together they created "Dandy's World", a kids show from the late 1990's to early 2000's starring the main character Dandy. In it, characters named Toons were the stars of the show. Each Toon is based off of different objects and items with their own personalities, leading to completely unique characters that were fun and appealing to kids.
The Toons were brought to life using a potent substance called "Ichor", giving them a real body in real life. These real life characters quickly became the main attraction to Gardenview. Dozens of Toons were created and brought to life and Dandy's World became a massive hit amongst children.
This was, however, until the early 2000's when Delilah started to experiment further with ichor on the Toons. After all, they could always just remake them again. Dandy decided to continue Delilah's work himself. Every Toon was experimented on and later recreated, pumped with extra ichor that destroyed their mind and body. These "Toons" are called Twisteds. Twisteds can barely think for themselves, their only driving thought being to kill and non-Twisted they see, Toons and humans alike. This very quickly led to the fall of Gardenview, with Delilah, Arthur, and anyone else who was working with them to abandon the place - leaving all the normal Toons inside with no escape.
----------------------------------------------------------
The Toons fell into the hierarchy described below:
Lethals, the Main Toons of Dandy's World:
Dandy - the main character. A sunflower with a sort of God complex. Pebble is his pet rock.
Dyle - the man behind the scenes. It usually falls on Dyle to make sure everything runs smoothly in Gardenview and he used to operate the trains that are the only way in and out of the building. He tends to keep to himself, disliking physical contact, but won't be hesitant to share gossip.
Main Toons, the "Main" Toons of Dandy's World and frequently show up in the episodes:
Astro - a crescent moon. A sleepy, more timid but friendly Toon who hides his face under a mask.
Bassie - a wicker basket. She only appears in the Easter special episodes.
Bobette - a bauble or Christmas tree ornament. She only appears in the Christmas special episodes. Energetic and outgoing, but she can get obsessive with making sure everything is perfect for Christmas.
Gourdy - a pumpkin. He only appears in the Halloween special episodes. One of the youngest Toons in Dandy's World. He loves halloweeen and scaring others.
Pebble - a pet rock. Happy, friendly, but he tends to stare.

Sprout - a strawberry. A profesional chef that loves to bake alongside Cosmo. Praised as one of the best Toons for his independency, helpfulness and empathy.
Vee - a TV robot. Hosts a game show of her own, usually with regular Toons as the contestants. Shelly's future counterpart.
Regular Toons, the remainder of the cast, usually only starring as side characters in episodes:

Brightney - a lamp. She is a bookworm and the president of the exclusive book club.

Cosmo - a cake pastry. He bakes alongside Sprout and loves to share what he makes.
Eclipse - a werewolf. She is always a wolf, but all her senses become heightened in the dark. Basically a loving dog.

Soulvester - a ghost inhabiting a suit of armor. He only appears in the halloween special episodes. He is very protective of those around him but the suit makes him slow. The older brother of Connie.
Squirm - an actual bookworm. He is quite a crybaby and eats when upset. Usually books. Which makes Brightney upset. And Brightney being upset makes Squirm upset... you can see where this is going.
Teagan - a tea cup. She loves nice little tea parties with other female Toons but doesn't mind being in the spotlight.
Tisha - a box of tissues. Quite a clean freak, always dusting and tidying where she can. For this reason she has a mutual rivalry with Brusha.

Yatta - a pinata. Loves candy a lot and is always hyper. Does trapeze tricks in the circus with Looey and Blot.

Description
Bassie is a light brown-ish wicker basket with two darker brown handles on each side, along with two eyelashes underneath her eyes as her mouth is formed into a small, cat-like smile. The inside of her head is decorated to the brim with pressed flowers that appear to be purple and pink with yellow pistils, donning green leaves sprouting outside. She wears a purple tank-top with a bell-shaped skirt that appears to be made out of 4 pink flower petals. Finally, she wears green and light green striped stirrup socks.
Bassie is a very shy and timid Toon, shown by how difficult it is for her to interact with new Toons she doesn't know well and how much she constantly fidgets.
Bassie is envious towards Cocoa, as messages she found from Delilah suggest that Cocoa could possibly be a better fit to be a Main Toon than Bassie. Bassie is scared that she could possibly lose her status as a Main Toon, and with it, her entire worth. She still cares for Cocoa and doesn't seem to hate her, especially since Cocoa doesn't seem to realize the pressure her existence puts on Bassie. Bassie seems to laugh uncontrollably in conversation when she can't prove that she can live up to the expectations of others as a defense mechanism of some sort.
Bassie feels like she is too dependant on other Toons and constantly shakes off feedback from others and turns away help, even when the task is way too big for her to handle. Failing one of these tasks causes her to spiral thinking she isn't good enough to be a Main Toon.

(Yes, I really did write character descriptions for every single Toon. No, I do not care if not everything is perfectly accurate to the lore)
