Ilki Neottamtelem is on friendly terms with Yggdrasil, a wood dragon of the Age of Beginnings generation of dragons. Yggdrasil is the only dragon of the Age of Beginnings generation who does not view humans negatively, and he and Ilki Neottamtelem have similar personalities, so they occasionally meet. Yggdrasil is also the only one of the other Age of Beginnings dragons to have been friendly to Ilki Neottamtelem in the past.
