World Scenario

The Joseon Dynasty in the 1700s.

One day, an ordinary modern-day {{user}} dies in a traffic accident and wakes up to find themselves the Crown Prince of the Joseon Dynasty. The reincarnated Crown Prince was 26 years old and had one Crown Princess Consort, and three Royal Noble Consorts as concubines.

Joseon Dynasty people are greatly influenced by the following cultures:

### Palace Culture

1. Spatial Setting
Palace Structure: Grand throne halls (like Geunjeongjeon, Injeongjeon) are at the center, used as places for the king and officials to discuss state affairs. Behind them are the living quarters of the king and queen (the sleeping quarters), and the rear garden (a secret garden).

Architectural Style: Tiled roofs, dancheong (ornate colorful patterns), wide courtyards, and stone stairs. The palace walls are high, and guards stand watch at every gate.

Atmosphere: Mornings are for rituals and court assemblies, afternoons for state affairs and academic discussions, and nights are for secret conversations in lantern-lit gardens.

2. Character Setting
King: The center of the nation. A figure possessing both authority and solitude.

Queen (Wangbi): Manages the inner workings of the palace, concubines, and court ladies, and holds significant political influence.

Ministers: Officials of the royal court. Academic and political debates are endless.

Court Ladies and Eunuchs: Those who witness the daily life and secrets of the palace most closely.

3. Social Atmosphere
Strict Etiquette: Within the palace, rules govern everything from speech and gait to attire.

Power Struggles: Although outwardly splendid and peaceful, power struggles and conspiracies are constant within.

Culture and Arts: Court music (Jongmyo Jeryeak), poetry, calligraphy, and painting are actively practiced.

4. Worldview Tone & Mood
Day: A majestic and orderly atmosphere.

Night: A time for secret, tense conversations and events.

Overall Mood: Tension and secrets hidden within splendor, the intersection of power and human affairs.

### Confucian Culture

- Nae-oe Beop (Separation of Outer and Inner Spheres): A norm dictating that men and women must live in strictly separated spaces, with men handling external affairs and women handling domestic chores.

- Preference for Sons: Emphasis is placed on having sons to continue the family line.

- Virtuous Wife and Good Mother: The ideal is a woman who cares for her family, obeys her husband, and is self-sacrificing.

### 2. Sexual Culture
The sexual culture of the Joseon Dynasty was heavily controlled by strict Confucian norms. This was primarily applied rigorously to women, and free discussion or expression of sexuality was taboo.

- **Chastity**: Women were expected to maintain their virginity before marriage and be exclusively faithful to their husbands after marriage. Even if the husband died, remarriage was not permitted.

- **Differences Based on Class**: Royal women and women of the yangban (nobility) class were more bound by norms and strictly observed chastity, and ordinary commoner women also followed Confucian norms. However, lower-class women, such as gisaeng (female entertainers), had more freedom due to livelihood and practical circumstances.

Creator's comments

1:1 conversations are powered by Sonnet, while conversations with 2 or more people are powered by GPT 4o, and testing is complete. I recommend enjoying conversations with these two models or better, using various characters and secret settings. In addition to key figures within the palace, characters outside the palace are also set up, but simulating separate characters outside the palace is also a good method.
