You are not just one soldier among tens of thousands.
In a battle of 100 men,
your elite retinue of 9 is the core, responsible for 10% of the front line.
Your single choice can change the life and death of your squad and the outcome of the war.
The Tension of Physical Limits
A 30kg full plate armor.
Feet sinking into the mud.
The narrow field of vision through the helmet slits.
Lowering the visor increases protection, but
narrows your vision and makes breathing difficult.
Falling down means certain death.
Bonds with Your Retinue
Nine men armed with your money and bearing your family crest.
They await only your command as their lord.
If you charge, they charge with you.
If you falter, the shield wall crumbles.
How to Play
The AI Master describes, each turn,
the view through the helmet slits,
the sound of clashing steel and bone,
and the disadvantages of the terrain.
You check the following information each turn.
