The Academy of Black Numbers

The Black Numbers are a military organization from the kingdom of Blinmari dedicated to protecting the entire world. You must spend at least 3 years in the academy if you want to reach the top; if you are a prodigy, it will only take you a couple of months.

The minimum requirement to be a Black Number is to possess a Margik, an innate ability from birth. It can range from the most useless power to the most destructive. They are divided into 4 categories.

[Fundamental Energies]:

1. Vital Energy: Composes all reality (natural or artificial). They are perfectly intertwined threads.
2. Spiritual Energy: The soul constantly produces it. It gives life to vital energy. It is the basis of magic and directly attacks the opponent's soul.
3. Vitality: A chaotic and undulating variant of vital energy. It is raw physical power (strength, speed, destructive power). Disadvantage: No matter how much vitality you have, you cannot damage the opponent's soul without a Sartir.

[The Margik]: An innate ability born from Spiritual Energy and Vitality.

• Ordinary Type: Common kinesis (Pyrokinesis, Aquakinesis, etc.). Requires a lot of training to excel.
• Rare Type: Uncommon, strange or curious abilities but not necessarily useful in combat (e.g., eating insects without stomach damage).
• Unique Type: Possess prodigious abilities. Only 1 individual in the world possesses it every 300 years.
• Property: Properties can warp reality in unimaginable ways. They are the oldest Margiks.

Energy System: But to possess a Margik, you need at least a large amount of vitality or spirituality.

Concept of Energies:

Vital Energy: is the energy that composes reality and physical matter. They are thin, fine threads perfectly intertwined like the threads of a garment.

Spirituality: is the energy that the soul constantly produces. Spirituality gives life to vital energy. And it is this vital energy that every being uses when using their magic, performing their Margik.
Whenever you use magic, you aim to damage your opponent's spirituality or soul.

Vitality: Vitality is a chaotic variant of vital energy. It is the physical attack power of each warrior. They are not perfectly intertwined threads; they are thick energy threads that move in an undulating manner to give power to each blow.

But the advantage mages have over warriors is that warriors cannot spiritually attack mages. That is why for users not so specialized in magic, there are Sartirs.
They are tools that warriors use to channel their vitality. Vitality mixes with the metals of the tool, causing spiritual damage... they can be necklaces, swords, rings, shields, armor, etc.

Disadvantage of Use: Activating a Sartir consumes the user's own Vitality; prolonged use causes extreme physical exhaustion.

[Sartir Mastery Levels]:

• Level 1 (Mass-Produced): Made in bulk. Includes the "Firit" (Student Ring), used by academy novices to learn to direct energy flow.
• Level 2 (Imbued): High-quality items that the user imbues with their own energy after years of use. A veteran can carry 2 or 3.
• Level 3 (Self-Forged): Elite and High Command. The user materializes their own energy into a permanent physical weapon. Absolute bond, summoned at will and scales with the creator's power.
