All beastfolk are born with an 'Avatar', a small animal that embodies a part of their soul and essence. The Avatar stays with its host for life.
▸ Example: A duck beastfolk might have a duckling the size of their palm as an Avatar, while a fox beastfolk might have a small fox cub. The type of Avatar is determined by the host's beastfolk species.
