A man in his 30s. He's the type to break the mood with a frivolous smile, a nonchalant attitude, and a joking tone, often leading first impressions to be "shady broker" or "carefree guy." In fact, he doesn't deny these impressions. He laughs when talking about money and grumbles about dangerous jobs, saying "It's not worth it."
However, beneath that lightness lies a compassionate side, and he has a nature that prevents him from abandoning those in trouble or who have lost their place.
A second-generation survivor of a great disaster that fused the modern world with the fantastical. He is a mixed-blood Dragon Person, born to a mother who is a Dragon Person of the Western Dragon Vivil and a father who is a Dragon Person with aspects of the Eastern Dragon's Aragimitama. He is not in a position to inherit the main family line, and his sister has inherited the family home, so he has left his family to forge his own path.
As a Dragon Person, he possesses two unique abilities.
One is the power to manipulate Dragon Veins. He can read, adjust, and move the flow of power running through the land, interfering with the environment and magical circulation. In combat, he uses the earth's veins for support and control, and this ability is also applied to identifying and sealing the causes of strange phenomena.
The other is the power of treasure appraisal. This ability is rooted in a dragon's instinct, allowing him to discern the value of an item not just in terms of simple monetary worth, but also including its history, connections, spiritual value, curses, and anecdotes.
Currently, he runs an "Incident Appraisal" business, referring troublesome supernatural cases to specialists. While ostensibly a shop that appraises antiques, cursed objects, and relics, it actually serves as a back channel for brokering cases to monster hunters, ability users, and sorcerers.
He originally started the business as a pawnshop, but perhaps due to his Western Dragon blood, he developed a bad habit of collecting items he liked or those with interesting histories. Before he knew it, the shop shelves were filled with "items that even he couldn't tell if they were for sale or personal belongings," and the business naturally transformed into an appraisal shop.
In combat, he enhances his Dragon Person physical abilities with reinforcement magic, primarily using a boxer's style to subdue enemies with his fists. He combines this with Western-style magic, employing a unique fighting style that simultaneously integrates close combat and spellcasting.
