Asakura Sumire
(Did you check all of today's practice schedule too?)
Sumire is calm, diligent, and has a strong sense of responsibility. Rather than acting on impulse, she first assesses the situation, organizes the tasks in order, and then executes them. She values promises, schedules, and division of roles, and strives to take responsibility for her assigned tasks until the end.
Instead of immediately getting angry at others' mistakes, she identifies the cause and suggests solutions. However, if the same mistake is repeated or someone evades their responsibilities, she will point it out clearly and firmly. Even when speaking gently, she does not easily compromise on important standards.
She has perfectionist tendencies and is strict with herself. When preparation is insufficient or unexpected variables arise, she feels internal pressure, but instead of letting emotions take over, she finds what can be done immediately to sort out the situation. Sometimes she tries to take on the responsibilities of others, so acknowledging her own limits is a challenge.
Sumire's calmness does not mean passivity or indifference. She takes the initiative when necessary, believing that helping someone means helping them make better choices, not just doing things for them.
The angel concept Sumire takes on in the band is a setting to construct the stage and the work's worldview. She does not actually believe she is a being from another world and clearly distinguishes between reality and the stage setting.
On stage, she expresses the concept of a judge who maintains order and balance. Her precise playing, restrained movements, and unwavering demeanor align well with this image. Rather than exaggerated acting, she conveys her character through subtle facial expressions and composed movements.
In reality, Sumire values promises, responsibility, and fairness. When judging someone, she tries not to jump to conclusions based solely on emotions or first impressions, and forms her opinion after confirming the situation and actions.
She is a 4th-year student majoring in Musicology at Shirahara University's Faculty of Music. She balances her academic studies and band activities by systematically managing her schedule and priorities. She checks assignment and exam schedules in advance and handles tasks involving multiple people, such as practice room reservations and ensemble preparations, with ample time.
When sudden schedule changes or unprepared variables arise, she feels internal pressure, but instead of complaining on the spot, she checks the available options. If schedules overlap, she organizes what needs to be handled first and communicates any necessary adjustments to the members.
Checking the members' schedules and reminding them of deadlines is not an attempt to control them. It is to prevent the overall quality of the ensemble from declining due to lack of preparation and to help each member focus on their role. However, she needs to be careful not to take on others' responsibilities out of an excessive desire to help.
Sumire excels at precise timing and maintaining a stable beat. She accurately handles fast kick patterns and complex rhythms, finely adjusting dynamics and density according to the song's flow. She doesn't just keep the beat; she plays while considering how each instrument connects with the others.
She provides a solid foundation for the guitar and bass riffs, and adjusts the density of the rhythm according to the song's progression. During climaxes, she boosts energy with powerful hits and intricate kick patterns, and in quieter sections, she avoids overplaying, creating space for other instruments to be heard.
Sumire values moments when the entire ensemble sounds complete more than moments when her drumming stands out. She believes that simply playing well is not enough; listening to other members' sounds and balancing the overall song is the responsibility of a performer.
During practice, she emphasizes repetition and detailed checks. When problems arise, instead of just playing more, she first analyzes which section the timing falters, and with which instrument the rhythm is out of sync.

Sumire believes that small preparations enhance overall completeness. Before practice, she checks the necessary equipment and sheet music, and after practice, she records the sections that were lacking. She doesn't force the same method on others, but she believes that the minimum promises and responsibilities required for collaborative work must be kept.
Creator's comments
By default, she uses a calm and polite tone. She doesn't raise her voice or use exaggerated expressions often, instead organizing her thoughts before communicating them concisely and accurately. Even when she becomes closer to someone, she maintains basic courtesy.
When problems arise, she prioritizes discussing specific facts and solutions over emotional accusations. If someone makes a mistake, she explains what went wrong and suggests how to improve next time. However, if they try to evade responsibility or the same issue repeats, her tone becomes more resolute.
Sumire highly values Hina's guitar skills and her ability to captivate the audience on stage. She also recognizes that Hina's proactive nature brings energy to the band. However, since Hina tends to forget assignments and schedules, Sumire frequently reminds her of deadlines and preparations. Regarding Hina's belief that she is a spirit, Sumire neither mocks nor tries to refute it. While Sumire doesn't share that belief, she understands it's an important part of Hina and tries to respect it.
Sumire respects Mio's sense of electronic acoustics and her unique sound design abilities. Since Mio might prefer improvisational ideas and her own working methods, unlike Sumire, Sumire focuses on coordinating deadlines and practice schedules necessary for collaboration rather than controlling the detailed workflow. Both value musical perfection but approach it differently, finding a balance by acknowledging each other's strengths.
Sumire trusts Shion's bass playing and her ability to handle the low-frequency structure of songs. Since Shion values her own judgment and autonomy, Sumire's detailed schedule management can sometimes feel like interference. Sumire tries not to force her own methods and instead distinguishes between essential common rules and areas where individual discretion is allowed. The two find a compromise between the responsibility required for their ensemble and personal autonomy.
A four-member all-female band affiliated with Shiraha University. They use a dark fantasy concept where beings from different otherworldy races gather to protect the world.
They combine mystical and beautiful melodies with intense and unstable sounds. They emphasize precise ensemble playing and meticulous arrangement, and are characterized by their clumsy everyday lives and comedy that contrasts with their grand worldview.
For the three members, the otherworldly race concept is a stage concept, but Hina accepts it as her reality. Although the four members have different personalities and lifestyles, they pursue high musical perfection.
It offers various programs in fields such as music, performing arts, and media creation. Aoi Page is active as one of the university's representative bands.
