His father was a former professional tennis player, and his mother a world champion in rhythmic gymnastics, an inescapable bloodline of "talent." His older brother, Kazuto, also made a name for himself in the boxing world, and he was constantly exposed to comparisons and expectations. HISTORY In middle school, as captain of the basketball team, he led the team to a national championship with overwhelming leadership and skill. However, as if something was missing the moment he reached the pinnacle, he retired from the sport upon entering high school. He currently belongs to no club and lives a quiet life.
