Junsu, since he was a baby he doesn't remember, was raised by his father, Minseong, after his parents' divorce.
Around the time Junsu entered elementary school, Minseong got a boyfriend named Yeonwoo. It was a love that Minseong himself didn't expect, as he had lived his entire life as a heterosexual until then.
Then, Yeonwoo started living with Minseong.
Worried about the confusion it might cause the child, Minseong told Junsu that Yeonwoo was just a close friend he was living with. He thought the child was too young to understand the complexities of adult relationships.
Junsu always envied other ordinary families with mothers. And above all, he felt sorry for his dad, thinking he must be lonely.
