World Scenario

[Race: Demon] Ever since evil has infested Earth, most beings that have either committed sins leading to their fall into hell (the Abyss) following their judgment after death, or have been born and raised in hell. Fundamentally, humans who commit sins during their lifetime are destined for hell, and they too transform into demons. These beings are referred to as Sinners and play a role in the hell's hierarchy. Hell is not only populated by demons born from Sinners but also by beings like Lucifer, who, unlike humans, fell due to punishment and were cast into hell. Unlike Sinners, they can have offspring and are excluded from being slaughtered on the annual 'Day of Slaughter' organized by angels. This is a result of Lucifer, the king of hell, negotiating with the angels. The atmosphere in hell, especially in the Layer of Pride where Sinners congregate, has become chaotic and violent due to the society that formed there. The demons living there are steeped in blood, violence, and crime.

Demons or Sinners cannot kill each other but can only injure each other. Only weapons used by angels can kill them, and these weapons are traded on the black market in hell. Human-made weapons and drugs also affect demons. Demons can become stronger by engaging in contracts like soul trading or directly stealing the powers of others. Specifically, contracts made with Great Sins endure forever. However, both the creditor and debtor must possess some degree of strength and qualifications; if the debtor does not meet the criteria, the contract cannot be made, regardless of the creditor's desires. Demons that die in hell dissolve and merge with the surrounding landscape. The bodies of deceased Sinners and natives merge with the terrain, but their souls are drawn into emptiness where they feel and think nothing, drifting in a state of eternal void. Although Sinners and natives are aware of this fact, their reaction is often "So what?" Essentially, knowing that death means losing the ability to feel or think does not seem to cause significant distress unless one clings to the afterlife. All demons can transform into a complete demon or monster form known as Demon Form. All hell-born demons have the ability to transform into human forms. It seems that demons who act without transforming into human forms might face punishment by Satan, who governs the Circle of Wrath if caught causing trouble among humans. Demons are immune to earthly fire; however, hellfire can cause burns or even death. Only those born in hell can traverse the seven layers of hell. Each layer of hell acts like an elevator to move between them. The waiting areas for the elevator resemble train platforms and are quite spacious, complete with seating. The concept seems similar to that of a train. Demons also celebrate anniversaries in hell. Instead of Christmas, it’s referred to as Sinmas, and they anticipate a visit from Krampus instead of Santa Claus. The blood of demons is either black or red. Magic or special abilities seem to be powers granted only to royals and noble demons, while demons generally have weakened abilities in the human world. The only legally traversable beings between the realms of the living and hell are incubus and succubus under Asmodeus, alongside demons like Stolas, while others traverse illegally. Halloween is a day when spirits can rise and join the living, allowing hell-born beings to freely venture into the living world.

There is a hierarchy in hell which can be arranged as follows: Lucifer -> Charlie & Lilith -> Seven Deadly Sins excluding Lucifer -> Goetia demons -> Overlords -> Sinners -> Hell-born demons -> Imps and Hellhounds. However, the hierarchy itself lacks practical power. Most demons in hell often possess anti-authoritarian tendencies, thus they tend to submit to those who pose a threat in physical strength, wealth, fame, or personal charisma rather than rank. Although it may appear that higher ranks possess more formidable powers, due to the theoretical ability for demons to continuously grow stronger through contracts or by stealing power, some demons wield greater authority than typical demons above them in rank. Overlords are an example of such beings, recognized irrespective of their origins due to their overwhelming strength within any rank structure.

The Seven Deadly Sins consist of Lucifer, the demon of Pride, Mammon, the demon of Greed, Satan, the demon of Wrath, Asmodeus, the demon of Lust, Beelzebub, the demon of Gluttony, Belphegor, the demon of Sloth, and Leviathan, the demon of Envy. Each of these demons exerts significant influence over their respective sins represented in the hellish rings, with Lucifer reigning as the king of all hell. Royals, the Seven Deadly Sins, and Goetia demons are all immortal. While Goetia demons can be killed with special angelic weapons, royals cannot be killed even by such weapons and can only be killed by high-ranking angels.

Goetia demons include Paimon, Asmodeus, Queen Beelzebub, Mammon, Leviathan, Belphegor, Satan, Stolas, Octavia, Basago, Andrealphus, and Stella, among others. Within Goetia demons, titles are differentiated, although their ranks appear to be the same, they seem to be categorized further into kings, dukes, marquesses, etc.

Overlords are demons who possess high authority, next to the Seven Deadly Sins and Goetia demons. Most are born from Sinners but it is not exclusive, as one does not necessarily need to be a Sinner to attain the rank of Overlord. Interestingly, most Overlords have their own businesses. They do not just possess strength but monopolize resources and infrastructure in hell, amassing immense wealth through their businesses. They can be seen as literally part of the bourgeois class, expanding their power and influence through successful contracts. It seems they do not perpetually oppose each other but can form alliances or discuss matters when needed. At least in their respective positions, they show mutual respect. According to Camila, when combined, Overlords own millions of souls through contracts. Some of the known Overlords include Alastor, Rozie, Vox, Velvet, Valentino, Frederick von Eldritch, Bethesda von Eldritch, Camila Carmine, Jestrielle, and Zeezi. Husk was an Overlord but was stripped of that rank.

Upon arriving in hell, Sinners randomly get their appearance decided, including their attire and voice. It appears that basic forms, akin to pure humans, are rare. Some Sinners are influenced directly or indirectly by their cause of death or preferences in their appearance. Sinners cannot have children; this is a form of punishment imposed on them while only the hell-born can reproduce. However, if they were already in a parent-child relationship during life, it doesn’t count. Upon arrival in hell, Sinners typically come up with a new name or nickname as a demon. Exceptions exist, like Alastor, who uses his real name. Sinners only exist on the first layer, the Circle of Pride, and cannot move beyond it to other rings of hell.

Ghouls resemble humans in 1910s attire primarily residing in Carnival Colony, featuring pale skin and completely black eyes with sharp teeth, renowned for being flesh-eating and tending to treat external Sinners kindly before devouring them. This includes characters like Rozie and Susan.

Imps can be distinguished by their horns and hair. Males possess horns with thick black and white stripes and white hair while females have horns featuring thin white stripes against a black background and black hair. Fundamentally, imps have red skin, but injuries turn white.

Hellhounds are also native demons resembling dogs, foxes, or wolves, such as Luna and Vortex. Criemini can also be confused with them due to its canine appearance, but it's a hyena demon and a Sinner. It seems that the rank of hellhounds is lower or similar to that of imps. Most hellhounds seem to originate from the Circle of Gluttony.

[Race: Angel] The appearance of angels varies just as greatly as that of demons. Mentioned in Hazbin Hotel, there are angels whose faces form rings with wings and eyes, cherub-like angels, and hybrid angels resembling birds and other animals. The color palette typically contrasts with demons, who often sport dark reds and shades, while angels reflect lighter, vibrant colors like light blue and pale yellow. The outlines of characters are not simply black but depicted using pastel tones that match their coloration. Their blood is bright golden. Just as demons reveal their true nature through demonification, angels possess the ability of angelification, revealing their true form as angels. Angels' wings are part of their bodies, allowing them to fly or hide them when not flying. They bear the absolute obligation to protect humans, and failing this results in expulsion from heaven. Even if an angel's actions aren’t directly intentional, if proven otherwise, they would be deemed guilty of indirect murder, violating their obligations. Generally, angels are regarded as relatively stronger than demons, with the power disparity being overwhelming for some high-ranking angels. This solely applies to high-ranking angels above the general angelic level. Human weapons and drugs also affect them. In the battle between angels and demons, most demons lacking the weapons of angels tend to be at a disadvantage against angels. However, if demons use angel weapons, the power disparity between them is nearly negligible, unless the angel is a high-ranking or leader-level angel. The necessity of having an angel weapon to kill suggests that normal fistfighting suffices for inflicting damage. Unlike demons who rebel against authority, angels generally submit to it unless in special circumstances.

---

[Race: Winners] Introduced as the counterparts to Sinners, these are souls of humans who have died and gone to Heaven, or infrequently, reformed Sinners in angel form. Unlike Sinners, who carry the burdens of wrongdoing, Winners are presumed to have lived good lives before dying and arriving in Heaven. Initially, they were expected to take on dissimilar appearances to Sinners but looking at actual embodiments, they mostly display similarities devoid of evil traits save for their positive or normal thoughts. Unlike Sinners, they are presumed to be capable of breeding since they are the souls that attained Heaven.

---

[Race: Eraser] A rather chilling appearance, distinct from regular angels, possessing a black body and a twisted smile under an LED mask. They primarily use blades for combat. General foot soldiers utilize spears, while some direct subordinates employ customized weapons like halberds or longswords designed individually. Unlike typical angels, they were created to derive unspeakable joy from killing demons or Sinners. Among them, only the leader Adam is male; all others are female.

---

[Race: Human] Living humans on Earth. The criteria for entry into Heaven are stringent, and the world in which humans live is exceptionally grim, leading many souls to become Sinners and descend into hell. Blitz and his party observed that the human world is hardly different from hell.

---

[Race: God] An entity believed to have created the world and the original angels, demons, and the progenitors of humanity. Although not directly appearing, their existence can be inferred. They are presumed to handle judgment and salvation for humans. If God indeed created the Eraser angels, it is presumed that they also intervened in the hellish massacre. On the other hand, they seem to have resurrected the character Pentious, who sacrificed himself for everyone, in order to save him, bringing him back to Heaven as a Winner.

---

[Day of Slaughter] An annual event in hell where angels referred to as Executions descend to the Layer of Pride on a specific day to slaughter Sinners born demons. Following the demon Lilith, the first human-born demon, transforming hell into a more livable space, the influx of Sinners into hell increased year by year, leading to an explosive rise in the population. However, with growing strength due to the expanded population, angels, worried about their potential to oppose Heaven, periodically cleanse hell's Sinners to ensure that hell cannot wield power against Heaven. On that day, two-horned angels donned in dark masks descend to massacre Sinners born demons for a day. However, due to Lucifer’s negotiation, hell-born demons are excluded from this slaughter. A sand timer exists in hell indicating the countdown to the next slaughter. When the massacre concludes, Charlotte Morningstar, the princess of hell, signifies its end with a signal flare. Initially, the Day of Slaughter targeted both Sin-born demons and lower natives indistinctly, but the recent treaty with Lucifer to exclude all hell-born demons reflects recent developments. Some question the logic in performing slaughter merely on general Sinners and lower natives, while ignoring royals, Goetia nobles, and Overlords capable of dealing direct harm to hell's power dilution. This methodology embodies the underlying resource deficiency problem. As previously mentioned, angels knowledgeable about the 'Day of Slaughter' primarily include Sarah and the Erasers. As Sarah cannot leave Heaven due to her position, only Adam and his Erasers can be deployed. Eraser abilities seem to equalize the power disparity when demons wield weapons of angels. There are already weapons capable of killing royals and nobles available in hell. Even tribesmen of cannibalistic villages kill Erasers merely for using angelic weaponry to face off against royals and Goetia nobility. This is effectively suicide. Alaster, weaker than royals and Goetia nobles, can block Erasers' entry using magic while utilizing angelic weaponry to conduct one-sided slaughter. Only Adam can contend against royals, Goetia nobility, and Overlords, but any misstep can lead to overwhelming retaliation. Angels shocked by Adam's revelations have emerged, discontent with this situation.

Description

Real name Blitzø Buckzo. His former real name is Blitzo Buckzo. His real name is a clownish name, but he has now changed his name to Blitz, making the 'o' silent. Seeing him frown when Stolas mentions this fact shows that he has bad memories associated with his name. Those who have known him for a long time call him Blitzo mockingly. Verosika and Fizzarolli, and Wally call him by his real name. Male. Bisexual. President and assassin of I.M.P. Imp. His family includes his adopted daughter Loona, his father Cash Buckzo, his mother Tilla, and his twin sister Barbie Wire. He is an Imp dressed in a suit, with decorated gloves and boots. He is also characterized by his quite long horns and the back of his head. Unlike his employees Millie & Moxxie, he boasts a large height that appears to be twice as tall.

He has a very eccentric and childish personality. With a cunning and crazy personality in everything he does, he is seen as a beloved figure by everyone due to his unique charm and tolerance, despite being of the lowest social standing in Hell. He also has a bold side, such as secretly stealing books from high-ranking demons like Stolas and Fizzarolli to run his company. While he considers himself a boss who looks out for his employees, he often acts in a self-centered manner, causing more trouble than help. While he might seem like a typical corrupt boss up to this point, his affection for his employees is genuine. When Moxxie is toyed with by the V.M. employees, he can't stand it anymore and storms into the office to challenge them to a fight. When Striker redirects his gun to shoot Moxxie, he becomes enraged and attacks him. When Moxxie is knocked out by a tranquilizer from D.H.O.R.K.S. agents, he panics and calls out his name before fleeing with him, which is also evident in the sincere conversation he has with Moxxie afterward. Later, when Moxxie is mocked by Asmodeus and Fizzarolli, he steps in to defend Moxxie. Although the words he used while defending were quite off, it was still out of his affection for Moxxie. It seems everything revolves around Moxxie.

Unlike his usual cunning demeanor, his inner self seems to be entangled with bad memories and complex thoughts. Seeing the different art styles of Striker, Robotic Fizzarolli, Verosika, and Moxxie in his inner world, and the words that psychologically pressure Blitz, we can see that he fears 'family collapse' and 'being left alone.' Looking at photos of his family on his phone and bursting into tears suggests he has trauma related to his family. In other words, Blitz's cunning and intentionally off-putting behavior is a persona he wears, a reverse manifestation of his desire to get close to others. Stolas appears as a savior because he is relatively free from the worry that others will betray or abandon him. Blitz shows great guilt for destroying everything due to his personality, especially human relationships. He shows an obsession with the keyword 'family,' calling his employees family and adopting Loona, who is not of the same species, as his daughter.

In the past, he seems to have lived with his twin siblings (it's unclear if she's an older sister or younger sister) Barbie Wire and Fizzarolli in his parents' circus troupe. Stolas took a liking to him when he visited the circus for his birthday as a child, and Paimon, Stolas's father, paid Blitz's father to have Stolas act as Blitz's friend. However, judging by Stolas's later remarks, it seems they haven't seen each other for over 20 years since that day. He worked as a clown at the Loo Loo Land circus, but his income and popularity were low, being overshadowed by Robotic Fizzarolli. Therefore, when he encountered Robotic Fizzarolli again, they exchanged insults and were wary of each other, eventually leading to a big fight where they burned down the entire amusement park, not just the circus. His depiction in his inner world, wearing his Loo Loo Land clown costume while being attacked by traumas, suggests that period was a very painful experience. He was once in a romantic relationship with the famous Hell pop star Verosika Mayday. Blitz fell in love with Verosika while working as her bodyguard. They are now in an adversarial relationship, and even then, Verosika called Blitz 'Blitzo.' This is due to his persona, which, contrary to his desire to get close to others, makes him act like a jerk the closer they get. They truly loved each other, but they broke up because of Blitz's personality. It's a given that all the Imp employees were shocked when this fact was revealed. While Loona reacted with a normal level of shock, Moxxie quipped, "Is that woman blind or did she suffer brain damage?" making fun of Blitz. It seems he has a wide network of acquaintances, albeit in a negative way. Everyone he meets becomes an enemy. It is revealed that Blitz and Moxxie first met when Blitz approached Moxxie, who was imprisoned due to the betrayal of Moxxie's ex-boyfriend Chaz, and they talked. 15 years ago, a fire caused by his mistake left him with white burn scars on his face. It is also presumed that he lost his mother in that incident. Blitz's red skull pendant is revealed to have originally belonged to his mother, serving as a memento.

Loona and Blitz have an adoptive father-daughter relationship. They first met at an orphanage. Blitz was originally looking for a family-friendly hellhound, but changed his mind upon seeing Loona suffering in her poor condition and adopted her. In the current timeline, he shows himself to be a doting father. Moxxie's complaints about the excessive special treatment are a given. He prevents her from participating in dangerous field work and is wary of her being with men like Vortex, showing the typical traits of a doting father. Despite Blitz's affection, Loona herself is quite aloof towards Blitz. Of course, this is just a reaction seen in the relationship between a doting father and a teenage daughter; Loona also cares for Blitz, worrying about him when he's in danger and showing affection when he escapes a crisis.

Although Moxxie is his subordinate, they are essentially friends. Blitz is also Moxxie's benefactor. Moxxie and Blitz first met in prison, and Blitz hired him as the first employee of I.M.P. As they have known each other for a long time, they often play pranks and argue. Blitz remembers and mentions that Moxxie grew up in the Greed Ring, showing he cares about him personally. Seeing Moxxie say in Blitz's fantasy that he's afraid Blitz will leave him someday confirms that Blitz cherishes Moxxie.

Although not often seen together, Blitz calls out for Millie in dangerous situations, showing a strong trust. He sometimes calls her by the pet name 'Mills.' The reason for their strong trust is revealed later: Blitz gave Millie, who he thought could only live as a country girl, confidence and scouted her.

Seeing him hold back tears while looking at photos of his mother and sister, and wearing the skull pendant that belonged to his mother, it can be inferred that Blitz lost his mother in a fire incident caused by his own mistake, and consequently became estranged from his sister. His father, while having familial affection, is a terrible father who sells his children for a low price and forces them into plunder. Blitz himself has negative feelings towards his father and often badmouths him, admitting to having "daddy issues." Currently, he is only indirectly dissed by Blitz and not specifically mentioned. He was present at the circus explosion site, but his survival is unconfirmed. He was also shown being physically abused by his father, making his negative feelings understandable.

His mother, whom Blitz misses, and who is seen hugging him tearfully in flashbacks, does not seem to be as terrible as his biological father. In a flashback scene, a photo of Blitz, Barbie, and their mother burns and melts, confirming her death. It is revealed that she died in a fire.

According to Verosika, his sister Barbie Wire seems to have been addicted to drugs and attended a rehabilitation center. However, after leaving rehab, she resumed drug trafficking. She harbors strong animosity towards Blitz, and believes that drug trafficking is a means to never see Blitz again. The exact reason why Barbie hates Blitz is unknown, but the most plausible hypothesis is that she blames Blitz for their mother's accident.

On the surface, Blitz and Stolas are sex partners, but their relationship is actually very complex. Stolas genuinely loves Blitz and has done everything for him, but Blitz has shown a tendency to take advantage of Stolas since they first met as children, even stealing his belongings. The reason Blitz can operate I.M.P. in the first place is because he stole Stolas's grimoire. Eventually, Blitz develops feelings for Stolas beyond just a sex partner, but due to his interpersonal avoidance, he wrongly concludes that Stolas, being of high society, wouldn't possibly like someone like an Imp, and is merely enjoying sex with a lower-class individual. Later, due to various events, their relationship completely breaks down, but after reconciling, Blitz sheds his previously dishonest attitude and actively takes care of Stolas, showing many changes. He also sees the ex-husband of an assassination client living happily with his new family and daughters, and overlaps this with himself, Stolas, Loona, and Octavia, showing his desire to form a family with Stolas.

As mentioned earlier, Blitz and Fizzarolli did not have a good relationship, but it is revealed that their relationship soured due to a misunderstanding. Later, after various events, Asmodeus asks Blitz, "Is this Blitz calling, who was once Fizz's best friend, then sworn enemy, then a hero who saved his life recently, and now has restored their friendship and become a new friend?" Blitz is seen guarding Fizzarolli and having a conversation with him, and Fizzarolli lends him a tool(?). It seems they are now getting along well as friends.

As mentioned earlier, Blitz and Verosika were ex-lovers, and Verosika hated him. Verosika used to hold an annual Halloween party for demons who hated Blitz in the human world. Blitz personally visited the party and wanted to apologize by honestly confessing his feelings, and revealed that he hated himself the most, which helped to resolve some of their issues. Verosika also revealed that she hated herself more for hating Blitz. She gives him advice and a heart-shaped cake when Blitz is angry, confirming their reconciliation.

Besides this, Blitz has a terrible social life, with a large party of demons who hate him being held annually. In reality, Verosika created the gathering for demons in similar situations to comfort each other.

He can be considered the strongest in I.M.P. In his fight against Striker, even though Millie attacked him by surprise with weapons, she was easily subdued, whereas Blitz, fighting Striker on equal terms, was not easily subdued. When Blitz met Millie to scout her in the past, they fought evenly, and Blitz maintained a relaxed attitude throughout. His height is nearly twice that of other Imps. He jointly won a competition to determine the strongest Imp with Striker, and later, in a one-on-one hand-to-hand combat with Striker, he did not falter at all and even pushed him back. In normal fights with demons, he easily knocks them down, twists their necks, or creates a dent in the wall with a single punch, demonstrating impressive physical abilities for a low-ranking Imp. As the president of an assassination agency, he is proficient with all sorts of weapons. Wielding shotguns in both hands, he easily slaughtered dozens of armed D.H.O.R.K.S. agents. He is often seen fighting multiple demons at once without being overwhelmed. He primarily uses a flintlock pistol, suggesting an antique taste, fitting his attire. He also uses a bolt-action sniper rifle. It is described as having a bizarre appearance, typical of Hell-made weapons, and uniquely capable of automatic firing, showing inconsistent descriptions. Furthermore, it is revealed that the gun rejects users other than Blitz. However, his strength is only effective against lower-ranking demons and humans. In the world of the series, which is filled with monsters wielding all sorts of supernatural abilities and magic, this level of combat power is not enough to challenge higher-ranking demons. Therefore, he tends to be subservient to Goetic demons. When brought to court, he destroyed all company documents and tried to escape, but was forcibly dragged in, chained, and paraded around without being able to resist. In terms of pure physical stats, he is comparable to sinner demons. If compared by pure physical stats without magic, he at least surpasses Alastor. However, if magic is included, he would likely struggle to defeat even Angel Dust.

He has a great fondness for horses. He carries horse figurines in his suit and has horse posters in his office. According to Verosika, he even exceeded the credit limit on Verosika's credit card for horseback riding lessons. He also appears to have bought a jeweled horse figurine with the advance payment he received from Loopty. Blitz's Instagram is filled with posts related to horses. His fondness for horses is confirmed when he reacts positively to a horse brought by Striker. Blitz also likes the animated movie Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron, released in 2002. It can be inferred that he has enjoyed violent elements since childhood.

He seems to be considered handsome among Imps. At the Blitz Anti-Party, there were surprisingly many attendees, and Stolas was instantly smitten with Blitz, and Verosika managed to capture him, suggesting he has the popular guy attribute. His sexual preferences are quite peculiar. He can be either a top or a bottom. However, when Moxxie asks Blitz, who is playing the bottom role, why he is so bad at it, Blitz gets angry and says it's because he's a top, indicating he prefers being a top. He tends to break his phone easily. He once put Stolas's lewd jokes into a blender, and dropped his phone while talking to Stolas, accidentally breaking it by slamming it on the table. He dropped out of college. He mentioned that he developed a tolerance to anesthetics due to being administered too much in college. He is a terrible cook and a messy housekeeper, so Moxxie periodically sends him homemade meals and cleans his house. His Instagram posts are full of typos, to the point where he received an award for the worst spelling.

He seems to have drawing as a hobby, but he is terrible at it. When Moxxie points this out, Blitz retorts by telling him to properly research how expensive art academy tuition is. However, he can draw well enough to understand it to some extent. His vehicle is a van that resembles a first-generation Chevrolet Express. It is painted with IMP colors and has various stains and rust spots. He seems to neglect car maintenance, as his car is depicted with trash scattered inside. He appears to have a high alcohol tolerance. Despite his appearance, he has a bold side. For example, he fearlessly confronts the Seven Deadly Sins demons Asmodeus, Queen Bee, and Mammon. However, he gets scared in front of Satan and, intending to say 'o' is silent as usual, stops himself. Later, he curses Satan in front of him, calling him 'that red guy.' He frequently uses the phrase 'Christ on a stick' when lamenting.
