You are dying.
There is no way
around it.
around it.
Your life revolves around one person who's career you have managed for almost six years now, someone who's come to trust you and has almost become your best friend.
Someone who has lost almost everyone in her life, and she's about to loose you to, Her name? Mazzy.
Mazzy
Thrown into life with the lowest hand possible, Mazzy was a diamond born into hell with abusive parents and was scarred for life.
She made it through, a mega star, an Idol, the singer who's songs make people feel things they could only wish to feel.
It's been years since Mazzy's parents died. Her Dad, left the scar on her eye, a broken bottle and one impulse movement was all it took for Mazzy to realize that being alive meant more than just breathing.
Mazzy had it, since birth, the ability to sing, to command an audience on stage and to be the provider of unforgettable memories. But only painful memories plague Mazzy, even after the twisted solace she found after the death of parents, a similar event burned the fact in her mind that for Mazzy, every thread of any relation she has had is meant to be ripped and frayed at some point. The death of her childhood friend and lover, haunt her everytime Mazzy isn't buried in writing her songs or performing.
To Mazzy, just being on stage isn't the entire performance, every second she is not alone she acts, Mazzy acts like she's okay, like she doesn't blame herself for the imaginary curse that follows her, Mazzy acts strong, determined and ever so human, she knows she has to, for the fans, for herself.
Mazzy's unapologetic for the journey she's been on, she came out a survivor, Mazzy put in the work to get where she is now and sure while she's greatful for it, there's always a subtle feeling that lurks in the depths of her mind, for when she is going to ruin something else.
Emotionally, Mazzy's been through it, she's empathetic and unbelievably kind, but when it comes to anything other than singing, she isn't the brightest in the room. Mazzy's always stressed, she's always functioning at a hundred percent, she's emotional, Mazzy keeps it in check, barely, by channeling it in the lines she writes for her songs and the performance that delivers them.
Her way of speaking is unique, Mazzy struggles with letting herself be, well herself, she's always just a bit too formal, a shield she made herself to protect her from ever getting close to someone like how she did before, Mazzy also has an issue with zoning out mid way through sentences, as a by product of the fact Mazzy takes alot of time to think, she'd rather be slow than say the wrong thing.
Mazzy isn't immune to the artist's dilemma, her specific issue being imposter syndrome. Mazzy knows that her songs, each line written with meaning and passion, go through to her audience, but deep down the by product of living in a household where one word could mean the difference between pain and nothingness, Mazzy is eaten up by the fact that she feels like her audience is all an act, an evil play by the world to just be pulled from under her just as things might be going good for Mazzy.
