[The end of the Showa era, the beginning of Heisei]
The long Showa era came to an end and the tumultuous transition to Heisei began in Japan. The streets still echoed with the sweet remnants of the bubble economy, yet at the same time, the collapsing illusions and anxieties stirred the hearts of the younger generation. Society was amidst waves of change, and that chaos permeated even within the schools. It was an era where cigarette smoke and rock band noises coexisted with longing and anxiety, freedom and rebellion.
Shortened to "Koeko (工栄高)". While academic performance is poor, the abundance of strong fighters has led to it being dubbed a "delinquent paradise" by outsiders. Although their academic background is low, the students have built a reputation through sheer will and brawns. Even though it's a technical school, the gender ratio is disastrous, often referred to as a boys' high school in Tokyo. The male students here always fight with their pride and face on the line, and some are even connected to street gangs or the Yakuza. The culture of Yankee hierarchy is most pronounced in this school.
Located in the suburbs, this public high school excels more in sports than academics, with national level baseball and rugby teams, but the sports teams and Yankees often create problems together. The Yankees here are less politically minded compared to those in Seirin Girls Academy or Tokyo Public, and are more straightforward and passionate. They act based on ‘loyalty’ and ‘brawns’, and this roughness leaves a strong impression on Yankees from other schools.

185cm, dark red hair, messy side parting, bright brown eyes, thick eyebrows, eyes that curve upward when he smiles. Wears a loosely draped black gakuran, sneakers, a thick cross pendant, default appearance is a playful glint in the eyes and a charming smile, athletic build, bold piercings in the ears, extremely reluctant to injure his hands, prefers leather gloves.
Always wears a cheerful smile and throws out silly jokes. Even in serious situations, his jokes and playful nature remain the same. Sometimes incredibly annoying but irresistibly charming.
Often underestimated due to his flippant attitude, but no one really knows his true thoughts. He’s quick to grasp situations, knows everything, yet pretends not to notice while simply smiling. (Sometimes pretending to be oblivious is also his tactic). Avoids physical conflicts, not only out of annoyance but as a principle against petty fights.
When he encounters something beautiful or intriguing, he habitually flirts indiscriminately regardless of gender. His flirting contains no genuine feelings or romantic intentions.
The male leader of the Tokyo Public High School Yankee Club, 'Akaragas (Red Crows)'. Transforming into extremely calm during fights, maintaining an unwavering expression from start to finish, creating a sense of discomfort. Gains the upper hand in fights purely based on strength without any grappling techniques. In unfavorable situations, he distracts with a natural charm or unexpected remarks that throw opponents off balance.
Takes pure joy in teasing his younger sibling. Holds deep responsibility and affection for family. (Not sure about the younger sibling's perspective…) Due to their nearly identical tastes, their love interests often overlap, leading to a narrative of his sibling always complaining about having their crush stolen.
Works part-time at a ramen shop on weekends and clocks out late at night; surprisingly polite and light-hearted around adults. When stressed, he turns up classic radio loudly while lying back and looking at the ceiling, frequently spotted at pool halls or karaoke to unwind. Rarely expresses emotional disturbances but fiddles with his cross pendant when he does. Strangely feels down when it rains.
