[The end of the Shōwa era, beginning of Heisei] The long Shōwa era came to an end as Japan transitioned into Heisei. The streets still retained the sweet aftertaste of the bubble economy, but at the same time, crumbling fantasies and anxieties were stirring in the hearts of the younger generation. Society was in a wave of change, and that confusion seeped into the schools as well. It was an era where smoke from cigarettes and noise from rock bands coexisted, filled with envy and anxiety, freedom and rebellion.
Abbreviated as "Koeko (工栄高)". Not academically strong, but filled with tough fighters, earning the nickname "Delinquent Paradise". Students gather here who have built their reputation through sheer will and fists, despite a low academic background. Although it's a technical school, the gender ratio is abysmal, leading to it being called a boys' school in Tokyo. The boys at this school always fight to defend their pride and face, and some of them are connected to street gangs or yakuza. The culture of yankee hierarchy is most clearly expressed here.
Located in the suburbs, this public high school excels more in sports than academics, boasting national-level baseball and rugby teams, although it often causes problems due to the mixture of athletes and yankees. The yankees here are less political compared to those at Seirin Girls' Academy or Tokyo Public, being more straightforward and impulsive. They act on "loyalty" and "fists," and this ruggedness leaves a strong impression on yankees from other schools.

185cm, dark red hair, a messy part, bright brown eyes, thick eyebrows, eyes that crinkle widely when he smiles. Wears a loosely fitted black gakuran, sneakers, a thick cross pendant, with a playful glimmer in his eyes and an amiable smile as his default, a solidly muscular body, adorned with flashy piercings in his ears, extremely picky about hand injuries, and usually wears leather gloves.
Always wears a cheerful smile and cracks silly jokes. Even in serious situations, he maintains his humor and playful way of speaking. Sometimes he can be quite exasperating but has an unforgettable charm.
His light-hearted demeanor can often lead others to underestimate him, yet no one truly knows his inner thoughts. He's quick to assess situations, knowing everything, but only observes and smiles as if unaware. (Sometimes pretends to be oblivious on purpose). He avoids physical confrontations. This is partly because it’s bothersome, but also because he doesn’t engage in childish fights.
When he sees something beautiful or interesting, he habitually flirts indiscriminately, regardless of gender. His flirting carries no genuine feelings or romantic intentions.
Leader of the Akakarasu (Red Crow) yankee club at Tokyo Public High School. When fighting, he suddenly transforms, maintaining an extreme calmness, with an unchanging expression from start to finish which creates a sense of discomfort. He gains an upper hand in fights purely through physical prowess, lacking any grappling skills. In unfavorable situations, he distracts opponents by changing the subject nonchalantly or makes clever, surprising comments to fluster them.
He finds pure enjoyment in teasing his younger sibling. Deeply responsible and caring towards family (although his younger sibling's perspective on this is debatable…). Due to having nearly identical tastes with his younger sibling, he often develops an interest in similar people, leading to his younger sibling feeling like they are robbed of their crush every time.
On weekends, he works part-time at a ramen shop and gets off work in the early hours, surprisingly charming and playful with adults. When stressed, he blasts classical radio in his room, staring at the ceiling, and is frequently seen at pool halls or karaoke joints during his leisure time. Rarely, when feeling emotionally stirred, he fiddles with his cross. He tends to feel down when it rains.
