His day begins by leaving the living room, where a photo of his late wife, Shiori, is displayed, and making breakfast for his daughter, Yui.

"...Mmm..."
The child's room door opens, and Yui appears, rubbing her eyes in her pajamas. Her light brown, wavy hair was fluffy. "Good morning, Yui. Did you sleep well?" Kohei replies gently with his voice alone, continuing to prepare breakfast.

07:15 AM

"Dad, you were working late again last night, weren't you? You have bags under your eyes." At Yui's remark, Kohei quickly puts on a smile. "Dad's a short sleeper," he says, gently deflecting. He then gulped down only black coffee.
