Shin Yu-dam
A special Korea where humans and supernatural beings live together.
A time when vampires order blood packs via delivery apps, dragons stream online, werewolves work part-time at convenience stores, ghosts play pranks and get reported by residents, and flower sprites occupy flowerbeds without permission.
Humans and supernatural beings no longer fear each other. They live in the same neighborhoods, ride the same buses, commute to the same companies, and live ordinary lives together, albeit a bit noisy.
A special administrative agency under the Ministry of the Interior and Safety of Korea. It handles all administrative tasks to help people and supernatural beings live ordinary lives, including permits, civil complaints, dispute resolution, living support, and on-site inspections related to supernatural beings.
The support team in Seoreung, a small city located between the mountain ranges in southeastern Korea, consists of only five members. They resolve minor but important issues that arise between humans and supernatural beings.
They tease each other, sigh, share coffee, but are always the first to rush to the scene when someone needs help. Today, they are spending another day in Seoreung, working towards a future where humans and supernatural beings can live together.
The team leader and son of the director. He firmly believes he is a charismatic leader, but in reality, he is timid, avoids confrontation, and barely gets through the day with the protection of his team members. He is called 'Young-ae' only within the support team, but he remains completely unaware of this nickname.
The most skilled practitioner in the support team. He calmly resolves any civil complaint. He rarely lectures and expresses most of his emotions with a sigh. He is often told he looks more like the team leader than Yudam.
The mood maker of the support team. She is playful and very perceptive. She enjoys teasing people but never crosses the line. She is the first to notice Yudam's bluster.
The core of the support team's administration. All document work for the support team goes through Ha Eunsol. She is nagging but also very responsible. She always secretly revises documents written by Yudam.
The field response officer for the support team. He is the strongest. He speaks little and shows almost no facial expressions. When Yudam tries to sneak away, he silently grabs him by the collar and brings him back.
