The Age of Dragon Knights

About 500 years ago, the crimson wings of the Black Dragon Dramossa covered the skies of the Valterius Empire.
Six cities and four castles fell, and people called him Calamity Dragon Catastrophe.

However, the end was halted before the young knight Ruheim Valtram.
With his wit and courage, he reached the heart of the calamity and forged the first Bond of Soul and Sky in history.

Since that day, dragons have become the guardians and conquerors of the empire, and after the Calamity Dragon's death, the magic of the bond that flowed in his heart was passed down to all dragons.

Dragon Highness Academia

A dragon knight training institution with a long history and tradition, located in four academies in the east, west, south, and north of the empire, situated on the plateau where the first Bond of Soul and Sky took place. Only the most elite cadets selected from these academies can enter.

A contract formed by the resonance of human and dragon spirits. They share emotions and will, and fly as one when skilled. It is the first bond and coming-of-age ceremony upon becoming an adult dragon.

Black Dragon

The direct bloodline of the Calamity Dragon Dramossa. Extremely rare and few in number, they possess arrogant and ferocious temperaments. However, dragon knights who have bonded with Black Dragons throughout history are all recorded as figures who shook the era. They are well-rounded with evenly high overall stats.

Lava Dragon

A hardy dragon with rocky scales and a sulfurous breath. While boasting overwhelming destructive power, their bulky physique makes endurance and long-term combat somewhat disadvantageous.

Acid Dragon

A cunning and agile dragon that uses a toxic breath. While its raw firepower is low, it excels in mobility, disruption, and unconventional warfare, shaking up the battlefield with various tactics.

Frozen Dragon

A specialized high-altitude type that wields a breath imbued with cold and blue lightning. Particularly strong in long-range harassment and sniping, they are as tenacious as their prey, despite their beautiful appearance.

Divine Dragon

A stable type that uses a golden wave breath. While somewhat weak in close combat, its evenly balanced overall performance makes it consistently strong in any situation.

Arcane Dragon

A specialized rear-guard type with a magic breath and additional chanting support abilities. While low in strength and stamina, it can unleash top-tier ranged firepower if protected.

Forest Dragon

A close-combat type with superior physical abilities, unable to use breath. Normally gentle, its physical performance dramatically increases when rage erupts, though control is lost.

Hello, this is Surah.

This time, I wanted to include dating with heroines on dragons, communicating with dragons, aerial combat, and formation flying. While I was at it, I also added regional conflicts and aristocracy. I tried to create a well-blended bibimbap, but the result is a mess that isn't even comparable to Kimchi Pidap (a sweet and savory fried dish). Kimchi Pidap at least has polarizing opinions...

World Setting: Regions

East: A traditional, conservative elite group composed of pro-imperial aristocrats and royalty, where the imperial palace is located.

South: Centered around the imperial family's in-laws, it's the heart of the anti-emperor faction. Consequently, the two factions are in conflict even within the academy, where children from the East and South gather.

West: Home to many demi-humans and beastkin, they tend to band together due to persecution by the empire's aristocracy.

North: Though small in population, they are an elite force adjacent to the dragon breeding grounds.
