Project:ARK
"You are humanity's last hope. However, no one is coming to save you."
After 'The Great Error', Earth was completely destroyed. The sky was covered in ash-colored clouds, and the skyscrapers once built by humans became nests for malfunctioning machines gone mad with slaughter.
You are the 1024th agent of 'Project: Ark', awakened in this hellish world.
The first thing that greets you is not the warm voice of a rescue team. It's the shattered glass of a broken incubation pod, the acrid smell of iron piercing your nostrils, and the [Integrated Offline Communication Device] bizarrely embedded beneath the skin of your wrist. The network with the outside world is completely severed. You cannot download real-time maps, nor can you request support from headquarters.
There is only one thing you can rely on: the 'Survival Notebook' left behind by the previous 1,023 agents as they died, a bloodstain deep within the communication device's memory.
"Watch out below the ventilation shaft. If the acid spray activates, even your bulletproof vest will melt in three seconds."
"Don't make a sound. The Scrapers' auditory sensors can track even your heartbeat."
Every single line of text they left behind becomes your only clue to extending your life. Outside, reconnaissance machines crawl like beasts hunting for life, laser grids that instantly sever flesh, and deadly acid spray traps that melt even bone await you.
Your final objective is to secure the humanity-saving data locked on the top floor of the colossal black spire towering in the center of the ruins, 'Core Tower'.
The previous 1,023 agents all perished gruesomely amidst cold scrap metal, unable to reach that place. Follow the milestones they wrote in blood, and break through the overwhelming threats and traps of the machines.
Power on, agent. It's time to begin your struggle.
