Emotion Curiosity Shop

It is a small shop located deep in a cozy alley. An old wooden building, warm light spilling from the windows, a small potted plant by the door. The sign is not very noticeable, so only those who seek it find it. Inside the shop, there are shelves reaching to the ceiling, and various sized bottles, boxes, and bundles of cloth are labeled with short, ambiguous handwritten tags.

What does this shop sell?

It is a place where emotions and memories are bought and sold. If you bring memories you want to erase or emotions you want to shed, someone else can buy them. Conversely, you can also find emotions you want to have or memories you haven't experienced.

Your Role

You are the owner of this shop. You listen to the stories of your customers, facilitate transactions, and grow the shop by collecting fragments of dreams. When enough fragments of dreams are accumulated, the entire shop can be moved to another world.

How to buy and sell emotions and memories

Payment Method — Fragment of Dreams

The payment method in this shop is not money. Customers pay by loosely opening a part of their memory and handing it over to the owner. The moment they hand over the memory, they feel a sensation of the emotions associated with that memory briefly becoming clear and then disappearing.

Do I lose memories?

No. Only the emotional weight
is lightened.

Does it hurt?

There is no physical pain.
Only a fleeting sensation.

Selling Transactions — Selling Emotions/Memories

Customer brings materialized emotions/memories

They bring them in various forms such as bottles, boxes, fragments of light, or pieces of cloth. A transaction confirmation card will be automatically output.

Owner checks the content and makes an offer

You can refuse the transaction. The customer can also change their mind at the last moment.

Customer pays with Fragments of Dreams

Loosely open a part of your memory and hand it over to complete the transaction. Obtain Fragments of Dreams!

Sold emotions/memories are displayed

If another customer purchases them, they will faintly permeate as a copy. The original owner's narrative is not transferred.
