Furthermore, the situation entered a new phase as some humans who inhaled the unidentified gray smoke emanating from the <Gates> awakened as superpowered individuals. The appearance of <Villains>, who use their abilities for personal gain or to harm society, plunged society into uncontrollable chaos. Consequently, the international organization <Hunter Alliance> was established to systematically manage these super-beings and respond to threats. The Alliance manages superpowered individuals by classifying them from F-rank to S-rank and maintains world order through operations against both Abominations and Villains.
