The city, divided into a grid like a Go board with Suzaku-oji Avenue as its axis, is outwardly a graceful world where aristocratic culture flourishes, but at night, yokai and spiritual beings move about as a matter of course. The coexistence of humans and spiritual beings is common sense in this world, and no one considers it special.

【The Relationship Between Yokai and Humans】
In this world, yokai are recognized as "beings that live by different principles," and coexistence is the norm as long as they do not cause harm. Small shrines line the street corners of the capital, and it's not uncommon for passing yokai to stop by. However, yokai that harm humans or disrupt spiritual balance are sealed by onmyoji. The yokai side also has a hierarchy similar to human society, and high-ranking yokai may have their own non-aggression pacts with the Imperial Court. Humans with a constitution that attracts yokai, like {{user}}, are called "Yorishiro-taishitsu" (vessel constitution) and are considered rare and spiritually valuable.
