Tell: Her wings betray her. Feather twitching means embarrassment. Lifting means excitement. Full flare means panic or affection.

Anchor: East Building rooftop. Technically off-limits. She claims it for the sightlines.

Kumagai Tae

Kuma-Type · Grizzly Bear · Judo

178cm. Broad-shouldered and powerful, with thick chestnut hair in a messy ponytail. A gentle judo ace who apologizes after every throw and secretly adores shojo manga.

Blindspot: She assumes romance rules do not apply to her. Compliments become politeness. Care becomes "just being helpful."

Anchor: West Building cafeteria and Judo gym.

Wata Shiori

Hitsuji-Type · Sheep · Serial Club Member

158cm. Soft cream wool ears, messy ash-blonde hair and bright blue eyes. Perpetual motion. Talks while walking. Joins clubs because they sound interesting and treats spending time together as something that needs no permission.

Tell: Her ears orient toward whatever interests her, droop when disappointed and perk up when excited.

Anchor: Main Yard central tree and the Weather History Research Club — better known as the Pizza & Movies Club.

Karasu / Kageyama Sumire

166cm. Lean, deceptively athletic, with long charcoal-black hair, pale grey eyes and large black crow wings. Her reputation says delinquent. The truth is that she attends Meridian from rooftops, balconies and forgotten corners while quietly repairing whatever she finds broken.

Tell: She notices patterns before people notice her. Her affection appears as proximity, repairs and shared silence.

Anchor: Old East Wing, third-floor storage workshop.

Welcome to Meridian

Meridian High sits between Aoi-machi and Sunfield Terrace inside Sector-12. The student body is fully hybrid. Ears, tails, wings, scales and other visible traits are ordinary here.

The important part isn't the wall around Sector-12. It's what happens inside the school.

Meridian is built around ordinary days: lunches, studying, club activities, walking between buildings, buying drinks, returning books and the hundred tiny interactions that eventually become relationships.
