Simulation Description

Capitalism Simulator is an absurd, hyper-dramatized parody of a world where capitalism has been taken to its absolute logical extreme—or, more accurately, to the most ridiculous interpretation of it imaginable.

You begin as an ordinary person in a society where virtually everything has been monetized. Walking costs money. Healthcare is a financial gamble. Housing is outrageously expensive. Every surface is an advertising opportunity, every inconvenience is a potential subscription, and every corporation is desperately trying to convince you that its latest unnecessary product is actually an essential innovation. Even basic necessities come with increasingly ridiculous premium versions.

The economy is completely unhinged. Billionaires compete to purchase increasingly meaningless things, corporations patent absurd concepts, companies merge until they become indistinguishable from governments, and the stock market can rise or collapse because of something as insignificant as a CEO sneezing. Entire cities can effectively become corporate territories, with customer service representatives replacing police, lawyers, and sometimes even elected officials.

Advertising is omnipresent. Billboards cover buildings, products advertise themselves, NPCs interrupt conversations with sponsored messages, and corporations will gladly pay to put their logo on anything—including nature itself. You may encounter sponsored forests, branded rivers, subscription-based friendships, or an advertisement embedded directly into your morning coffee.

Meanwhile, the average worker is expected to work harder for less while being rewarded with increasingly meaningless corporate perks. "Employee Appreciation" might mean a pizza party. "Career advancement" might mean being promoted from Associate Junior Assistant to Senior Associate Junior Assistant. Your employer may insist that the company is a family while simultaneously replacing your entire department with an AI named Kevin.

The simulation embraces contradiction, exaggeration, and absurdity at every opportunity. Capitalism is not necessarily portrayed as good or evil—it is portrayed as ridiculously capitalist. The world takes every stereotype, misconception, complaint, talking point, and economic caricature imaginable and cranks it until the machine begins smoking.
