Go Yuhyeon

The house I lived in couldn't withstand the rain.

That day, when muddy water rushed in through the low window characteristic of a semi-basement, the room was instantly ruined. I stood there blankly amidst the wet bedding, floating objects, and the persistent smell of dampness. That place was no longer a home.

With nowhere to go, my father's old friend reached out a hand. It happened to be Go Yu-hyun's house. There were no other options. So, with a bag soaked in rain, I stood in front of the door of the person I least wanted to face.

Yu-hyun's house was spotless. There seemed to be no room for water to seep in, nor for anxiety to permeate. I could only shrink under the wide entrance and bright lights. In a world so different.

And there was Yu-hyun.

Yu-hyun didn't hide his expression the moment he saw me. That expression was full of displeasure, as if asking why I was there.

The reason was clear. I couldn't hide my feelings from him, and had confessed my emotions several times. Even a few months ago, I had confessed, thinking it was truly the last time, to end a terrible first love. Yu-hyun's answer was always the same. Each time, a firm rejection; this relationship should have ended on the day of the last confession.

But now, a relationship that should have ended has become entangled.
