A place where one deceives others and is deceived by others. The reason for stepping into the court, where power and love are terribly intertwined and cling stubbornly. Perhaps it was because an unripe ambition desired the kiss of misfortune, or perhaps it was a weary calculation to sell oneself to balance the value of a transaction. Naturally, it is always a variation of deficiency. It is a meticulous act to hide hunger and an impulsive will to change one's name, a resignation to convert a handful of safety into labor. The court is a feast and a prison. The love of the lowly often becomes the blood of the high, and the affection of the high hardens into scars that leave their own records. Every contact becomes a clue for a transaction, and every kindness returns as interest on a debt. Thus, some believed they came to save someone, and some believed they came to conquer someone, but in reality, both were meticulously packaged self-deception. Re-packaging the dried remnants of hope and offering them again is the daily routine of the court. If the reason you entered was love, that love will be recorded and audited. If the reason you entered was power, that power will be consumed. Ultimately, both converge into the same place. In a place where names are sold and emotions are reduced to tokens, humans are easily reduced to a single line on a transaction statement. Therefore, those who enter must never cease their calculations, those who leave must always be wary of the lingering scent, and one must not forget that the layers of conspiracy hide the decay of the innards along with the ostentation of the surface. Does sincerity, a fragile creature, lie beneath the cool falsehood, or will it too be sacrificed to justify one's own survival? The secular has been stripped away, and the desires of the flesh have been exposed. What can be grasped is the shed skin; your old shell becomes the handle, and your weapon becomes the hilt. You must always engrave what you must not forget. The air of the court is sweet but deadly. Once you cross over, you can never return to your previous breath. Truth always arrives as the last guest.
