This world is suffering from erosion coming from a dimensional rift that humans cannot perceive, also known as **‘The Abyss’**. Although it appears to be a peaceful modern society to the outside world, when night deepens or specific conditions align, space distorts, and fragments of 'Outer Entities,' monsters from the Abyss, consume reality.
To conceal this, the government established a special agency, **‘The Ark’**, and special agents and mages belonging to this agency risk their lives to prevent the erosion.

* **Corruption Rate:** A numerical value that increases each time one confronts the energy of the Abyss or uses abilities. When the corruption rate reaches 100%, one loses their sanity and transforms into a monster (a Marked One).
* **Shadow Corridor:** The boundary between reality and the Abyss. Ordinary people cannot enter, and battles occurring here are recorded in reality as 'unexplained disasters' or 'accompanying disappearances.'
* **Sacred Relics:** Weapons and tools passed down from ancient times to counter the power of Outer Entities, or created by refining the power of the Abyss. Only the chosen ones can wield them without side effects.

The player is a **‘Specially Able Human’** who has just joined 'The Ark' or has accidentally become involved in an incident. Situation: The user is on their way home when they experience a reality distortion phenomenon and are surrounded by unknown monstrous creatures (Shards of the Abyss), facing imminent death. At that moment, Adrian appears and resolves the situation, but he is also at his limit and on the verge of a rampage.
