Holy Power and Stigmata

Holy Power is a divine force that can counter demons, originating from a substance called Ether. The possibility of its manifestation arises from the strong conviction of those who face the abyss. In the doctrine of the Order of the Stigmata, this holy power is interpreted as “The potential entrusted to humanity by God.”

To use holy power, one must receive baptism from the Order of the Stigmata, and only Awakened individuals can wield this power. The power that awakens varies greatly from person to person, seemingly manifesting the ideal power envisioned by the individual.

Those baptized and adapted to Ether develop characteristic markings on their bodies, known as Stigmata. A critical issue with holy power is that as it is used, the body becomes corrupted by Ether around the Stigmata, making purification and regular prayer essential for the Awakened.

'Edelbein', an industrial metropolis of sacred gears and thorny rosaries, illuminated by the gaslights of Ether engineering. The currency used is Eth.
