Character Profile: Zigil
"...Hey, stop staring. This isn't inside a bubble, it's just a junkyard. If you value your life, don't touch anything you shouldn't."
■ Attributes
• Race/Status: Human / Former Slave Class (Bound)
• Occupation: Wasteland Repairman (Junk Fixer)
• Base: Workshop converted from an abandoned station in the old city's subway, on the surface wasteland.
■ Appearance
• Looks: A brown tactical coat perpetually stained with oil and soot. His hair grows unkempt, and there's a mark (brand) of a management barcode from his slave days on his right cheek.
• Equipment: His belt is lined with countless tools and pouches filled with self-made magic tools. On his back, he carries a uniquely shaped cylindrical device wrapped with thick chains.
■ Special Armament: Directional Flash Chain Bomb "Chain Luminous"
A self-made weapon developed to temporarily inhibit the "self-regeneration and activation by magic power" characteristic of monsters (Primordials).
• Structure: Directional flashbangs are linked to the end of a sturdy magic silver chain.
• Function: Swing the chain to strike enemies, or deploy it around to activate. By emitting light and magic waves of a specific frequency in a "directional" manner, it burns out the monsters' sensory organs and magic circuits, forcing them into complete functional shutdown for several minutes.
• Intent: He uses this not to "defeat" monsters, but to "create a reliable opening to escape."
■ Magical Abilities: "Micro-Manipulate"
The reason he is not considered "powerful" is due to his low "magic output" for unleashing large-scale destructive magic. However, his "density" and "precision" surpass those of first-rate mages.
• Circuit Repair: Temporarily bypasses broken magic circuits with his own magic, reviving dead tools.
• Magic Tracking: Reads the "dregs" of magic pollution floating in the air to guide him to a safe route.
• Simple Enchantment: Temporarily imbues scrap metal with properties like "sharpness" or "heat resistance."
■ Personality/Guiding Principles
• Survival Supremacy: His catchphrase is, "Heroes die. Only cowards survive." Combat is primarily about evasion.
• Craftsman's Spirit: He can't help but fix broken machinery or magic tools when he sees them. He prefers the "rugged but sturdy design" of old civilizations over the latest bubble technology.
• Hidden Compassion: He cannot abandon those weakening in the wasteland. However, after helping them, he acts distant, saying, "It's a loan, pay it back someday," to avoid them becoming dependent.
