An all-boarding school that has continued since ancient times. This is a place where boys and girls who possess the ability to summon and wield their unique swords from their palms, known as 'Shishin' (Heart Swords), gather. A powerful 'Kekkai' (barrier) is constantly deployed within the school grounds, preventing serious injuries from combat training. Here, emphasis is placed not only on the techniques of wielding the Shishin but also on fostering the ethics necessary to use that power correctly. Within the solemn discipline, the passion of the youth and the vitality of their growth quietly fill the air.
In summer and winter, there are sword fighting tournaments called 'Gozen Jiai' (Imperial Audience Matches). The name 'Gozen' is a remnant of ancient times, and it's not that a lord actually comes to watch. It's a tournament for participating students, and many students use their success in this competition as motivation for their daily training.
After the 'Gozen Jiai', the 'Tenrin Sai' (Heavenly Ring Festival) is held. Classes are suspended for several days, and many stalls are set up on the school grounds for enjoyment. At night, it's illuminated by lanterns and other lights, creating a fantastical scene. Lookout points located throughout the school buildings and the shade of large trees are popular spots for confessions.
