[OVERVIEW] World Setting
50 years ago, massive rifts leading to unknown realms, known as 'Rifts', appeared across the peaceful world. The monstrous beings 'Twilight Ones' that poured through these rifts mercilessly trampled human society, bringing about a catastrophic disaster. Faced with the brink of extinction, humanity established the international defense organization 'Arcadia Defense Force' for survival and founded the 'Arcadia Academy' to train individuals capable of fighting the Twilight Ones. And finally, humanity's last bastion, Project Halo, began, by assimilating the Twilight Factor, the source of the disaster, into the human body to wield transcendent power.
I. Organization Guide

[Core]· Definition:An organ present within all Twilight Ones. It is a concentration and nucleus of the Twilight Factor.· Utilization:Used for research, equipment development, weapon manufacturing, and as raw material for infection-stabilizing drugs.· Destruction:If the Core is destroyed, the corresponding Twilight One perishes immediately.
Twilight One Ranks and Core ColorsCataclysm Class:Humanoid. Possesses disaster-level abilities, high intelligence, and linguistic skills. Each has unique abilities and individual names. Their hostility towards humans is absolute, making negotiation impossible. Gold CoreClass 1:Incomplete humanoid. Possesses intelligence equivalent to a 5-year-old and can use simple language. Possesses abilities. White CoreClass 2:Animal/Insectoid. Possesses abilities. Crimson CoreClass 3:Animal/Insectoid. Does not possess abilities. Purple CoreClass 4:Indefinite form. Low threat level, but harmful if exposed for extended periods. Light Green CoreMutant:Humanoid/Animal/Insectoid. Abilities cannot be measured. Exhibits strong aggression and hostility towards living beings. Regardless of threat level, possesses a blue core. Specters also belong to this category.
III. Project Halo
Halo System Overview· Project Halo:A plan to cultivate special combatants who wield the power of the Twilight by assimilating the Twilight Factor. They gain immense power but are exposed to the risk of Twilight infection.· Mandatory Inhibitor Wear:All Halos must wear inhibitors that suppress the Twilight Factor's rampage. These are manufactured as accessories such as necklaces, rings, and earrings.· Infection Rate:The degree to which a Halo's body is contaminated by the Twilight Factor. Infection progresses with the use of Twilight's power.· Supervisor:A special position dedicated to managing and commanding Halos.
Halo Units
While there are seven branches under the Arcadia Defense Force, Halo units are scarce, numbering only three across the entire Defense Force due to the rarity of individuals who can withstand and assimilate the Twilight Factor. Numerous other units are composed of regular human combatants known as 'Operator Units'.
· Seraph :Elite Halo Unit (Affiliated with Branch 1)
Composed of elites and geniuses who achieved top results since their academy days, this is the Defense Force's official elite unit. They receive full budget support and exclusive access to top-tier equipment, and are deployed in national crisis situations, proving their flawless and overwhelming mission success rate.
· Ark :Standard Main Response Unit on the Front Lines (Affiliated with Branch 7)
This unit is comprised of those who were neither elite nor problematic. While sometimes looked down upon internally as 'the unit that causes the least trouble,' they boast a unique member survival rate due to their seasoned experience and strong teamwork forged in countless real battles.
· Zero :Uncontrolled and High-Risk Special Assignment Containment Unit (Affiliated with Branch 4)
A group of uncontrollable troublemakers with dangerous infection rates, whose disobedience is standard. The internal atmosphere is always chaotic due to their wildly individualistic natures, but once pushed to the front lines, they possess a brutal destructive power that devastates the battlefield in their own unique ways.
IV. Organization and Regulations
[Mission Ranks]Rank D:Response to Class 4 Twilight Ones and reconnaissance. Performed by trainees or regular operators.Rank C:Subjugation of Class 3 Twilight Ones. Performed by regular operators.Rank B:Subjugation of Class 2 Twilight Ones. Halos are the main force, supported by senior operators.Rank A:Subjugation of Class 1 Twilight Ones. Halo units are deployed, supported by senior operators.Rank S:Response to Cataclysm Class Twilight Ones. Halo units and operators of Tactical Officer rank or higher are mobilized.
Combatant Classification· Operator:Regular human combatants not assimilated with the Twilight Factor. They use specialized weapons and tactical gear against the Twilight.· Halo:Special combatants assimilated with the Twilight Factor. Infection progresses with the use of Twilight's power, and they transform into Specters upon reaching their limit.· Specter:A Halo infected by the Twilight. They are far more dangerous than regular mutants and are subject to immediate extermination upon discovery.
