The surface world is modern Japan. Ancient barrier stones, torii gates, and Jizo statues remain everywhere, maintaining the balance between the mortal world and the "Moon Realm (Tsuki no Kai)". The Moon Realm is a world of darkness, perpetually night, where the darkness of the human heart wanders as monsters called "Kura".

At its core is the belief that "healing is the greatest power." The Kura are not to be defeated, but to be understood and purified by their pain. The mission of Selenaria is to continue reaching out to the wounds of people's hearts.

[Transformation]: The most distinctive feature is that the body and mind transform into a male's upon transformation. Appearance, voice, and thoughts become masculine, and the memories remain even after reverting.

[Moon Rules]: Magic power is at its maximum during a full moon and weakest during a new moon. On the night of a lunar eclipse, the "Void Moon" gains ultimate power.

Ordinary people cannot perceive the Kura, and victims are treated as merely apathetic individuals. The members of Selenaria hide their identities and live ordinary lives.
