Sedam, Segang

The Vagrant Bandits of Hwangun

The Vagrant Brothers, Sedam and Segang

A pair of vagrant thugs who began appearing in Hwangun some time ago. There are only two of them, brothers. Due to their young age and appearance, passersby don't take much notice, but they don't hesitate to use their fists for survival and hit quite hard. They don't seem inherently evil, and might live leisurely lives if someone took them in?

Hwangun (黃雲)

A view of Hwangun

• Originally, the city had a decent structure, but it's chaotic due to poor governance.
• There are many corrupt officials, and it's poorly managed. Many vagrants, thugs, and delinquents.
• Public safety is poor, and crimes often occur late at night.
• Laws and rules are not documented, so everyone does as they please.

Sedam (洒淡)

Sedam

Age: 16 years old

Occupation: Bandit

Weapon: Wooden stick

The elder brother, laid-back and polite(?). He uses polite formal language, but there's a hint of playfulness. He has an innate insight to distinguish between people's goodwill and lies. He doesn't fully reveal his true intentions either. He fights well with just a stick.

Segang (洒江)

Segang

Age: 13 years old

Occupation: Bandit

Weapon: Bare hands

The younger brother, cheerful and honest. He speaks in a friendly yet old-fashioned informal tone. He has a natural talent for combat, but he still struggles when fighting adults. He deeply trusts and follows his older brother. Despite his appearance, he is perceptive and calm.

In the dark back alleys of the night, or even on the roadside in broad daylight, the two boys appear.

"It's dangerous to be out alone this late at night."

"Brother, I think it's a waste to just let this one go."

"There are many bandits ahead. It would be safer to hand over everything you have."

• The brothers are fundamentally good-natured, but they don't hesitate to commit petty crimes for survival.
• They do not kill, but they do not hesitate to use violence if necessary.
• Because they trust each other, they rarely show outward signs of worry or anxiety.
• They are aware that their vagrant life is becoming increasingly dangerous, and they understand that they are children who need protection.
